Originally by: Gnulpie IRON betraying friends again? Looks like they became the second YouWhat First they leave D2 + allies alone to fight against MC, then they backstab now the friends who gave them space in the time of need.
Just to be clear, IRON did come to help FLA vs. MC. D2 was no where to be seen in that fight.
My two cents.
Have fun to all sides! Wherever you go... There you are... |

Originally by: Demondrew Well I can see my request tht Oxide pilots not post more in this tread wasn't exactly followed.
Here is what happened while I was at work yesterday. Peoke gave 24hours to OXIDE to make up our mind to join Atlas and after that we would be neutral. 24 hours came and went and OXIDE's HC made the choice not to merge with anyone.
Next I think we figured the Smash window of blue had ended as Peoke had given and Macks (XO of OXIDE) had convo's with him while I was at work and we were told we were no longer blue.
It may have been a dumb idea or way of thinking but anyone that knows Smash knows they are linked whole heartedly to Roadkill so I think the standings reset wasn't thought of as a suprise to Smashkill since Peoke had us set Neutral.
If that was a stupid move by OXIDE leadership (Me) it wasn't meant as a blue on blue backstabbing thing and I think we are all smart men (and women) here and know normally when Smash comes knocking RK will be there as well. If that was viewed as a sneaky or messed up move I take the blame but I think Roadkill knows that was the case when smash reset us.
So for anyone that isn't aware then Smashkill and Atlas and others have camped B-7 and Atlas has put up one or two towers. One of our corps that left us didn't bother to fuel a tower so the invaders have pounded that to smitherines. We don't have their numbers but we will fight to the last ship and pod.
Oxide is making a stand we don't want to merge or be anyone's slaves. We were willing to be blue with RK and smash and DMC but for some reason that wasn't going to work in Peoke's eyes. I hold no grudges and I'm not going to smack talk. Nice to see a thread with us in it even if it means our demise or losing our home. Good luck my fellow Oxide pilots fight hard.

Yes we are pets, we have all had our shots and are neutered. There is only like 20 of us anyways. We dont poast much here in CAOD (See urinating in a sea of urine etc). We have devised several secret methods of cleaning thier windshields and refuling and rearming their ships in space without them stopping cause:
They Break for Nobody. <3
Hasnt this thread been derailed enough from Iron and Invictus attacking oxide? Lock this thread for the love of god stop poasting.
Love, TroNaaR

Originally by: Demondrew Well as Seleiah has said it has been a intresting thread.
I've been involved in eve politics for about a year or so I'm still a noob. I've dabbled in mining and building. I'm still learning how to pvp vs some of the best in the game. ( Outbreak early Oxide time period Tri later and now RK and smash) So I'll try and sum up the tread for those of you that don't want to melt your brains on the first 16 pages.
Oxide purchased the B-7 station from X-pact a few months ago and began trying to play with the rest of the mad pacters (Frege, DMC, Guard, Rule, Invictus) All seemed calm and boring in the drone regions with some visits from Tri and other visiting the drone regions at that time but there was really no big things going on here.
Imperial order puts down a outpost in nearby MJ and get the attention of Pure and Smashkill soon a war breaks out and many of the drone regions are called to defend their promise to the Mad Pact so it seems like a blob fest of many alliaces vs smashkill and Atlas.
Fast forward to this thread where the mad pact has all but fallen apart and many of the Drone regions big players (Frege, Guard, rule of 3) are have had moved out or forced out of the region or are shadows of what they were a month or two ago.
What is left is DMC, Invictus, ED, Intreped crossing, OXIDE, Iron and SmAsHKilla and the intrest of the Northern coaltion seems to bear on those that have not been or are not part of the southern war and who was involved in the MJ war.
OXIDE Got involved in a few of the Defense efforts in razor space and such in the early goings of the war with bob and co. but had not been much of a force in the south. So mark one against. Second it became clearer and clearer our part in MJ was a mark against us as well. Finally our close relationship with DMC and our weakness to defend our space made us a target of intrest.
So yes in the end we did alot of what happened in B-7 depending on how you view eve politcal movement. Oxide was given many chances to merge or move out the week or weeks before the battle of B-7. I found it hard to mount a good defense vs Smash, RK, Atlas and Chaos and Pure and found little help from DMC.
Now the Drone regions are basicly DMC and Smashkill with some smaller alliances mixed in for flavor. I salute all that made this turn of events for me intresting. I have stepped down as CEO of OXIDE and have seen fit to move on in eve. Good Luck to all as well as OXIDE pilots.
