FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Team JAVELIN has been a member of The Cyrene Initiative for just over a year. After the welcome we received when we came to Federation space, we were happy to support a pro-Federation alliance. In our time with Cyrene, we have fought the Intaki Union (twice), the Star Fraction, Privateers (on multiple occasions), and several other groups. We are proud of the contribution we made in that time.
It is now time to refocus on our core values as a profit-seeking business venture. The war against APEX did not further our business interests or our core values. The ongoing and shifting nature of this war, a pattern we have seen before, underlines the undesirability of allowing it to continue affecting our operations.
Team JAVELIN acknowledges that its enemies have space superiority and the ability to halt our activity. We have seperated from Cyrene, filed the surrender notices with CONCORD, and we look forward to future profitability as an independent corporation.

While we fully understand the decision of Team Javelin, TAKAGI Corp regrets it.
Federation's safety needs more defenders, in order to keep our core systems safe, not less.
Outgoing acts of piracy and the empower pirates have gained over the once lawful Apex Conglomerate should be proof enough that today, more than ever, freedom needs defenders.

I think it's safety and freedom would be in a better situation if its militants for once weren't the aggressive ones. You reap what you sow.
I respect the actions of Team Javelin in recognizing that their leadership thrust them into a war they can't possibly hope to win, instead of spewing propaganda about being victorious and about how their killboards with entities not involved in the campaign are capable of doing all the talking.

It is not mine to comment on The Cyrene Initiative's tactical choices. As far as we are concerned, they drove out of federal space a decaying entity and then stopped the war. The pursuing of this war beyond its initial objectives is not on Cyrene's hands. |
