Hey guys,
I've been creating my own corp so i can anchor a pos in galente 0.5 system.
My personnal standings towards gallente federation is 5.07.
My corp (i'm the only one in there) has 3.50 standings towards gallente federation. How is that possible? i thought corp standings = average standings of all members?

It slowly changes towards the average standing of all members, with a few other particulatities (at least one standing change within the more or less recent past while in the corp or somesuch).
The value is cached locally for the standings list, so you might want to "show composition" on it to see the real current value (and you'll see the text describing how it works too).

Corporation standings are the average of the RAW unmodified personal standings of each member with NON-ZERO standings....it does NOT take Social skills into account, and anyone who does not have any standings toward the faction in question (such as a newbie who hasn't run any missions or such yet) is not counted at all in the calculation

My raw standings towards gallente federation is 4.12 (5.06 with connection 4) so it doesn't explain why the corp standings is 3.5, and i'm alone in the corp... But if it slowly goes to the avg standing of members, how much time does it need to get to full amount ?

Not quite sure how much it jumps the first day (percentually speaking, it's a bit more as all he rest), but afterwards it's around 25% of difference per day.
You need to get your main's base standing a bit above 5.0 before you have a chance to get corp above 5.0

And connections has no influence on the standings for anchoring a POS. Only you raw standings count.

Unfortunately modified standings will not count toward corp. standings.
Once you get your raw personal standings up to say 5.1, itÆll take you about 13days to get the corp. to 5.0 if you start from 0.

Anyone know if the corp standing toward a faction are bugged? I started a new corp a couple days ago. I'm the only one in the corp with a faction standing of 8.26 and I can't get a faction standing to show at all. Been a couple days and no standing. I have even run a faction standing mission and still nothing.
The factions under the disliked by are showing up. Just wondering if I need to petition this.

Try setting standings, it should start to rise after you set them.

Check it with an alt. There's an annoying caching bug that prevents it from showing.
Oddly though, you appear to be right, you have no Amarr or Caldari standings. They should have started to change by now, like your CPF standing has.

I tried it with an alt and that's a no go. I'm wondering if this last patch didn't make things worse. I filed a petition so will see what they say. I will post back in case anyone else has the same problem.

Have you done a storyline mission since forming the corp? I believe it doens't trigger the factions standing change unless something else has caused a change. Try running a storyline mission or two, and see if it doens't start going up.

I ran one the day after I started the corp and no change. What has me stumped is that the Factions under "disliked by" are showing up, just not the "like by" which of course is the one I need.

Here is an update from the petition I filed:

When you do an important storyline mission (any member of the corporation that is) then your standing will begin to adjust slowly to match the average faction standing of the corporation members to the corporation faction standing. If you don't do any more missions (or anything that effects the faction standing) then the adjustment will slow down and eventually stop.
So you should continue working for the faction to make the corporation standings adjust to your personnal standings.
I checked my standings again after todays DT and they are finely showing up. I still had to use an alt to see them though. I wish they would fix that bug.

My main had the same problem. No standings changed since the patchday. Filed a petition and after 48h i got a GM reply saying that the standing will start moving soon. After todays DT still nothing happened 
Something got messed up on that last patch and i hope they fix it asap

Happened to me too. After doing a storyline the next day it started going up again.

Don't panic, it all works only half-ass  Couple of things to remember on this case is #1 your raw standing is the standing will be used by your corp. #2 Corp standing changes every day after downtime. #3 To check your corp standing, you need to ask some on in the chat room to look it up for you, or use your alt. There is a bug and that's why you don't see any change when you check it your self. And if you want your corp standing 5+ you will definitely going to need raw standing well above 5. Get it up to 5.4 or 5.5

Here is another way: (Given to me by a GM after a petition)
How To Find Your Standings
1. You need to delete your MachoNet folder in your cache (..\CCP\EVE\Cache\MachoNet), forcing your client to update with good standings.
2. Be docked & right click your ship & get info.
3. Click your picture icon to the right of the ship picture.
4. To see your standing click the Standings tab
How To Find Your Corp Standings
5. In the next window click the corp icon to the right of your picture.
6. Go to the Standings tab (if not there).
7. Click the "Liked By" tab & you will see the standing of your corp to various factions & corps.
How To Find Who In Corp Is Affecting the Corp Standings
8. On any of the various corps standings you can see in the Standings Tab area... if you right click on them & do Show Compositions another window shows with all the corp members and each of their standings.

just as a note, the latest problems that standings didnt changed were related to the patchday and an GM reply confirmed that. Today after DT standings moved again. If it doesnt you need to do another storyline as usual to get the process started again. Did had nothing to do with the old cache problem (which is still not fixed ...)
