hehe, well.... I'll tell you a sekrit :D
Celes hate BoB but not all the corps in INSRG hate BoB at all.. in fact we have quite a few who dislike the goons much more... so we figured it was best to focus on local issues for local people, and ignore the 'great war'.... for now ;)

Originally by: borup why INSURGENCY didnt attack rzr or mm? you do have 1k members + so it would be fair fight right?
how rzr sees this whole conflict? insurgency did less to help with branch assault then alliances beeing attacked atm
You have to put yourself in RZR's position too. Its not just about numbers - in fact the numbers of the GSA/Pheonix/CPU coalition are greater than RZR or MM.
RZR and co have a strong PvP focused alliance in the name of INSRG right on their doorstep, living in NPC stations (hence invulnerable), who have told them they would help defend their space in the event of attack.
It is agreed that INRSG are much stronger PvP wise than the coalition of alliances at the moment, since PvP is the number one activity.
Its much more useful in the long run to have a strong PvP alliance on your side, all other factors considered. At the end of the day, this is just a small turf war. But the stronger side will win, and RZR & Co are playing a very clever and wise game in seeing who that will be. Since only the strongest will survive and exist to protect RZR/MM space.

anyhow, small gang pvp is very different from pos war pvp
Absolutely. I think CELES and most of the corps in INSRG have more experience of the former but are showing good adaptation to the latter

hehe... to be fair, you don't know anything about my corp, and if you did you wouldnt make that comment
It is true however, that there are a mix of capabilities on a corp by corp level... and so you do have to see how it develops. Initial signs are positive, I'm sure there will be teething issues, but there is very good leadership, guidance, and FC's which is really what counts.
Fat can always be trimmed, but you either have potential or you don't. Without great FC's and leadership, an alliance is nothing and those qualities seem to come naturally to certain people.

Re: Hammar Wolf's comment about a slow conflict. I have to agree.
I'd just say that actually I don't think we're in a rush to do anything because we're all enjoying the fighting tremendously and long may that last. In a way I'm not looking forward to the final outcome because it will mean the end of some wonderful fights.

Edited by: Reprimander on 11/11/2007 01:40:16 It was indeed a rather laggy fight, especially at the start. That does happen when you have a coalition (Phalanx, Pheonix, CPU, Stella Polar, GSA) gang of 220 fighting our gang of 100... its a lot of people to accomodate in one grid load :D
I'm not sure all the various mails are up yet but you can see a summary of the fight at http://kb.insrg.com/?a=kill_related&kll_id=6791 (I'd give it 24 hours though before calling that definitive).
All in all, parts of it were fun, other times it was too laggy, but thanks to all for a smack-free and generally enjoyable fight when things did load.
:D

Vultures rely on their prey either dying naturally or being killed by another creature.
We on the other hand have fought very much our own fight, every single one of them outnumbered and often 2-1 odds against us. We're enjoying ourselves, and lets face it, this is what makes EvE interesting and fun

Originally by: Alyssa Barton Hmm.. what about the NAP with Mostly Harmless darth? They probably wanted the nap not you, right?
On a side note even Morsus Mihi, Razor and Triumvirate had more 24 hours NAPs. So there is nothing strange in it.
/me waits for the massive support
Why would we need or want 'massive support'? We have always fought outnumbered and so far so good.
Trust me the last thing we want is lag on the scale of yesterdays fights all the time. Thats why we *dont* bring massive support, and will not do so.
This is our fight and I think I'm right in saying we would like to keep it that way.
Yes we're blue (not temporary NAP'd) with Mostly Harmless, but do you see any in system fighting you? You're talking about our standings list, we're talking about blobs in J7... any more than yesterday and the only thing you'll succeed in doing is crashing the node.
And to TRI... we love you lots and have respect for you, but you need better intel as we didnt deploy any capitals yesterday apart from a couple of logistics carriers at the POS.

Originally by: WETRAIN oh and yea pick your colors and ****.. everything is a ******* political game in the north ... MostlyHarmless comes to help CPU and stuff, one of insurg leaders tells me they dont stand a chance this way and bla bla, probably darth goes to rzr and mm crying to get mm blue so they deal with cpu , insurg goes to the forums for killing 120 noobs, we come help tri comes to help, insurg *****es about naps.
and TOP NEWS RIGHT NOW!! ITS FRESH
RZR AND MM SET CPU AND CO TO NEUTRAL CAUSE THEY NAPED US FOR THE FIGHT.
ITS ON THE FORUMS IT MUST BE TRUE.
Your posts are a disgrace, tbh.
Yes you came and got involved in the conflict yesterday, well done. Hope you all enjoyed the ride home in your pods

d solo.
Can't say whether you have the battle hardened PvPers you claim or not. The ones from Insurgency I had the pleasure to meet with sure weren't battle hardened.
What you defenitly have thou is a great propaganda team!
It's amazing to see how many of your members believe and backup the nonsense that some of your guys spew out about Phalanx Alliance.
Er, we're fighting large-scale fleet fights one after another outnumbered, and normally winning.
You're ganking the odd NPCer in a nanosquad.
There is a difference. What I can't understand is why you guys smack so much when you lose every major engagement... just stick to what ur good at, ganking drakes and ravens in nanogangs
