Then the dynamic rents hit and we dropped most. To put it into perspective 'most' is all but a measly 29 offices. It does feel weird sometimes to be a member of Bruce. Sometimes I hear them talk about how many SP's they have total and I am thinking I have more than that in gunnery and I still consider myself an industrialist even though I pew pew more often than not. Some of my memories are: 1. The rocket indy. I would fit OD's across the lows and AB's across the mids. These were were the days before 1mn, 10mn, 100mn. I wished I could look on people's faces when I passed their ships like they were standing still. 2. The days before the mining barge. As I remember it, the best mining frigate was the probe, the best mining cruiser was the thorax, the best ming BS was the Apoc. I was among the first to ninja mine in 0.0. I still do that today with reds in system. 3. Getting my first inty. It was a malediction. I got first kills in it when FA kicked out a bunch of carebear corps out of Fountain around Easter of 2004(not really sure on date). The funny thing was our FC said it was fleet training op so I decided to bring my shiny new malediction to show off and then I got to Fountain and found out what it really was. I had a few choice words for him, the punk. My first kill in it was a megathron I was tackling and as I was buzzing it, I started to wonder if I could get splash damage from an exploding ship. Luckily, the answer was no. Those just a few of my memories. I probably could write a book on Eve at this point, but as usual RL had too much of a hold on me. BTW, this character is my original alt. My original main was terminated long ago. So technically I am posting with my alt.

How about joining "Old farts'R'Us" channel (confirmed Old farts will get operator rights so they can kick out n00bs/spamming alts, so self controlled) in game for the meeting (especially for those of use that don't have the appropriate sec status), minimum EVE time of 3 years to join. BTW, any one seen Sarkos (of Oracle fame) or Setec (the infamous leader of SPVD) ? I think Xirt still plays, and I know that Chow still does. For a while i was the official blob-size-forecaster in my corp. :) The old Period Basis community was unmentioned before as i read the topic. Some of those, who hanged out there are in high ranks by now. I remembered when my corp held 80% of the factory slots in FinFactor in G-QJU5 (or what was the name of that system). I remember just a few names and a lot of skirmishes from that time. It was great to have a relatively peaceful "carebear heaven" under CFS wings. Too bad TPAR-G was too important for multiple entities for different reasons. I miss the old FA too, the one i joined. It was a great alliance, it was said that time "FA won EVE". It was extremely nicely organized with high standards (passport system, patrols, etc) and lots of great people (actually great people were more common in those days). Unfortunately every good things have an end. Player interaction is not as exciting as it was a couple years ago, when drama bombs were cared about. Back then everything was simple for us: "good guys <-> bad guys" and everyone picked a side and took it more-less seriously. The propaganda wars were well prepared quality suff. After the "ebil CA" disbanded and the good guys started to insult the good guys. Now CAOD its own shadow, no real drama, just bashing and fofofo-crap. At the end i would mention an old fart, who is not here: Abdallion. Rings a bell to anyone?
