Or the old client (pre-today)? CCP this is not the nerf you are looking for... |

I created a 2nd copy of eve and d/l this http://ccp.vo.llnwd.net/o2/test/eveclassicpatch37459-41824_test.exe. When tryin to apply the patch to my 2nd eve copy it stated that your current build (41736) is not compatible with this patch file (37459)
I thought the classic patch was good upto (41824). Any ideas anyone? thanks ------------------------------------------------------ Everyone pays for sex whether it be directly or indirectly

Edited by: JupiterPSA on 06/11/2007 23:15:18 same problem >_<
and this is my petition text :)
<< Hi, i'm searching for the patch it seems i have to apply to the client i use to play on the test server 'singularity', but i have no success. My actual build is the latest, just downloaded it; it displays 'VERSION: 3.23.41736' If i try to connect once i choose singularity test server, it says: SERVER STATUS: INCOPATIBLE (RELEASE) My OS: windows2000 professional
Then a window pops up and says: There was an unexpected error while retrieving patch status:A patch file for your build number is not available. You will have to patch manually.Do you want to go to support page? YES-NO
Ok, i hit "yes" and the browser starts, but it says in red: We were unable to locate a patchfile for your build no. (41736).
So it suggests: You should duplicate your primary installation folder again before patching. Go to the Test Patches page for more details
Ok, let's go to the test patches page, and it seems i can choose finally my version #41736 In the list that number is missing: it only shows: 41724(latest), 41652, 41641, 41540, 41444 and "not on this list"
Mmmm, it's not on this list, i select "not on this list" and i press "Find patch" Result, the following text in a page without any other button, or list. Patches: Here you can download patches for manual patching, if for some reason autopatching fails. To manually apply a patch you will need to download the patch from below and save it to a local folder. Launch the EXE file from that folder. If a file-open dialog appears then locate EVE on your hard drive. If you experience any problems then do not hesitate to contact support on http://support.eve-online.com You should duplicate your primary installation folder again before patching. Go to the Test Patches page for more details
Question: is this release not yet patched to play on the test server singularity? or it's just a my problem?
Please if possible can you give me the correct URL or tell me where is located the patch for my version?
Thank you Best Regards >>

"oops"
I dont feel comfortable when that word comes from a developer...
To put into protocol: When a new TQ patch is released, make sure we have an updated SISI patch to go with it.

Singularity Test Server To update a client from the current live server (build #37459) please use the following patch.
Do not apply this patch to your main EVE installation or you will be unable to play the game.
Download TQ to Singularity Patch
http://ccp.vo.llnwd.net/o2/test/eveclassicpatch37459-42039_test.exe
This needs to be updated to 41736-42039 or any version patchable till 42039.
Currently there is no way to get from 41736 (current TQ live version) to a sisi playable version.

Well apparently the patch is there. There's just no link to it on the site. I just typed in http://ccp.vo.llnwd.net/o2/test/eveclassicpatch41736-42039_test.exe, and it gave me a prompt to download it. And it works, and I'm now connected.

I had the same problem, all I did was delete my old test server folder and copy a new one from my latest EVE folder and updated with the link from Suga, works fine for me now.

Yes I tried this on the day. CCP normally follow a guessable naming convention but the file wasn't up there the other day.
40235 is still listed as (latest) however manually downloading the link above worked, patched, and I also can now connect.
Also for got so say... thanks for looking into this Mandrake much appreciated.
