The day i broke 100million ISK i thought i was god. My First Fleet operation in 0.0 was outstanding (cheirs Brungar and Ral, [i]and the rest of ED[/]) And the day i build my first Capital Ship i'm sure i'll be moist all over. What were your most memorable moments in Eve? What made you sit back and go, "wow, just wow" Share those moments, share the love, and save a Russian - drink Vodka!

Sylvia Lafayette	Posted - 2007.11.06 20:34:00 - [3] most recent moment is when I realized I only need like 2.5mil more pyrite and 80k isogen to finish my obelisk. getting my first navitas was awesome and the first thing I can remember. then going out into 0.4 to mine jaspet was great. getting threatend by the corp that claimed that 0.4 system to join or leave was cool too and how I joined my first corp. I could probably go on and on I need to condense it into a biography then post the 2 pages of it for fun. oh ya first time in the Dominix was really cool

P'uck	Posted - 2007.11.06 20:39:00 - [6] Edited by: P''uck on 06/11/2007 20:46:38 first undock was pretty much WHOA... first exploration hit was also pretty cool. today i plotted a course from normal space to a deadspace area... 25000 km in a claw with 10mn ab II, arrived 7000km off (screw stupid doubleclicking maneuvering, i want navigational tools), did some directional scanning to narrow down the position of the grid, did some more double clicking and flying... and after a final, really fat lagspike, i arrived at the grid. so today i entered a DED complex without using a gate, which still gives me a strange feeling of accomplishment... tomorrow or so ill try to bring a battleship in the complex(which only allows BC and below). this will take an estimated flight time of 13 hours +/- 30 minutes, depending on how often i can correct the directional deviation. will provide screenshots if successful, biggest enemy being a stable server and/or connection for that long flight but let me tell you this one thing, you can call me crazy if you want: im planning to do a 13 hour sub-warp flight in one direction, only interrupted by the occasional scan and doubleclick in space, and eve has NEVER EVER felt more like ... you know... real. i love it.

Woah, that's awesome! To this day I still remember my first real squad-based combat. Our corporation, a relatively carebear outfit, declared war on a pirate corp that had a habit of harassing new players. Several hours before the war went live we moved a group of 7-8 ships, with me in a lowly vexor, to confront them at their base of operations at the edge of low-sec space that our enemies occasionally ventured into. We found a similar fleet waiting for us as the war timer slowly counted down. We spent the next two hours darting in and out of low-sec, prodding the enemy forces to engage us and at the same time trying to evaluate their ships and tactics. I never fired a shot that night, but the tension alone left me physically and emotionally exhausted afterward. My corp was trying to unite in a border 0.0 system after half of us had travelled in and the other half were still in empire. At some point, scouts in both groups notice a 30-35 man enemy camp in between us. Since each of us only had 16 ships, we decided to wait a little bit on enganging. Especially since we spotted another enemy patrol a few jumps out. Suddenly, the enemy gate camp starts racing away and we give chase. As it turns out, the enemy intel picked up a 15ish man BOB pack and were going to go kill them. Since we are friends of BOBs we gave chase and stayed a system behind. When we got word that BOB had engaged we jumped into the system with them to join in the fray. Unfortunately, the enemy gang had 20ish people in standby that we had not seen to engage in the fight, so escalation quickly occured. None of us were ready for a fleet fight. So, a lot of lag later, our group had lost 1 sabre, BOB had picked up minor losses (one of which do to terrible lag and my awesome DPS) and 40 of the 45ish enemy combatents were left shipless and a couple dozen podded. I haven't check to see if the kills have been spread to all appropraite killboards yet. Edit - I know numbers do not add up. Two different KB's and a **** load of lag +imperfect scouting does that.

Flawless victory! went off in my head because it went down perfectly. Stalked him through the system for an hour. Finally caught him and he never got a shot off or a module activation on me.
