some questions to aeon pilot:
1) what was your fitting? 2) did you have any alts nearby with any capabilities? 3) what was your sensor strenght? 4) what you tried to do in fight?
Have mothership myself and wonder how to avoid situations like this :)

YAY! Our second mothership in four weeks killed. If I come back from work I demand fraps of it!
Seriously, those seem far to easy to kill for a multi-billion-investment

Congratulations Huzzah & Co on this perfectly executed attack, I can't believe the BRUCE mom going down in their own house? Great job Tresher as always, much respect o/. Jeez there must be what, 80 carriers logged off in PC9 in one form or another (time zones, etc) across their coalition of 2k+ pilots? not counting all their allies and NAPs they can call on when needed? Never thought it would be possible for any cap to die with the cross/spider repping from a carrier fleet of that magnitude at the ready (like BRUCE's are in PC9). Ahh well, other than Badger II's and Iteron IVs having to take a few extra precautions now that they can't drop their toy mom to deal with interceptors & vagabonds on gates....I'll have to agree with Friedrick, doesn't seem like the loss will effect bruce much tbh.

From what I hear most of the Aeon loot died, first from the exploding, then from being in a Huzzah carrier's cargo when it went down. Only some EANMs survived for looting, and a LOT of isk went boom.
BRUCE held the field of course. I don't think our gang was ever much above 25, and local peaked at 100ish with more hostiles than friends in surrounding systems. Was just a matter of time before we'd get seriously outnumbered, so we had to risk it all for the Aeon kill.

with re: to holding the field... that is their home system (and npc 0.0), so its a moot point anyhow really.

Real men jet the loot, lock the can and hold it for ransom. Come on, you know you wanted to :(

That's why you got the kill though, because you stuck it out to the end. No point starting something if you aren't going to finish it.
Props to everyone and i'm just bummed i missed it, i was sleeping at the time.

Got mothership myself, so got a lot of pain, hearing someone killed it :)

As ever, thanks to all involved in what was an exciting engagement. There's no point having expensive toys unless you're going to use them so kudos to the MS pilot.
One gripe I have with BRUCE's tactics as a whole is that they tend to call primaries in alphabetical order, hence I get killed very quickly. Can you do me a favour and try reverse alphabetical order please!
Congrats to Huzzah and ExM, it is a pleasure mixing things up in Syndicate with you all.
Cheers BRUCE for being a worth subject for our attentions.
Please de-alphabetise local! Sort it by time spent in local. I don't want to be at the top of local anymore. Ta!

WOOT! It's always sad to see such a massive ship go down, but at least it went down with glory. There was not a single ill word in local after this fight was over.
Makes me proud to be a part of it all. There are a few of us that didn't make it on the killmail, so if there are any ccp folk reading this - please send me a non-truncated eve-mail I can post :)

Perhaps if the MS pilot has EVE Combat Log analyser we could get a full list of those involved

The mothership was personally owned by a member of BRUCE. It was not an Alliance-owned ship.

Great job HUZZAH, it's great to see a lot of old faces posting here. Also glad to know that HUZZAH is still alive and well, and is still an alliance who is relatively smack-free and has a sense of e-honor (or whatever it's called). Good fight on both sides, nice to read about it. ******
