TECHA	Posted - 2007.11.07 23:09:00 - [1] The previous posts ( on hauler drops ) got me remembering of some amazing drops Ive stumped apon ... First in my early days of ratting , I was picking up loot in an 0.5 system left by a guy in a Hulk and got warned off , etc. Anyways I leave and return after a long while to see if hes left and sure enough there are a few wrecks to loot - I look in one and there is a Slave implant ( I sell for 100 mil ), a daredevil bp plus another true sanchas module. The second which is perhaps even more amazing. I was watching Kelptos gate-game while cloaked and sitting about 100 km off. They where hard at it and took down several ships in the half hour I spied ( including a machie pilot traveling semi-Afk ). After a while they all suddenly depart , leaving one or two wrecks unlooted ! I thought they must have looked and not bothered with what was there but anyway it could be worth a look. So I swoop down and to my surprise there was a Naglfar bpc to be found ( sold that for a quick sale of 140 mil ) . cheers

I've done tons of it and never scored a damned thing. I almost don't believe that you guys actually found anything. I think you're lying. Low-grade snake implant in 0.8 while looking for macro-ers, sold it for 180m. Mining upgrade worth 100m found while harassing some guys in belts. Experimented with low-sec to prove a point and made 1b in 10d by just ratting 1h/d. You just have to be smart about it. :) Failgeddon wrecks CCP for XXX annoyed customers !

Been in Eve for an half an hour or so, kill some npc or other in training mission, drops an item (no idea what it was now) that I take to sell at the noobie station, holy **, it's worth 2 million isk, then, holy ** again, it says -60% of average. Some quick questions in corp chat directed me to a system a few jumps away where I sold it to a buy order for 3.8 million isk. Been playing less than an hour. Since then I've had tons of great drops, 38 faction items from one hauler I ganked, but that first sticks out in my mind still.

halo2577	Posted - 2007.11.08 13:54:00 - [19] When I was very young in the game (and before Warp to 0 was around), I was running around low sec, I was approaching a gate and guy in a Thorax decided to have a shoot at me - well the dumb guy could not tank the guns and I had him scramled, he went pop and dropped a Crow and Vagabond BPO. Later he convo'd me and offered me a meer 300m for there return, I refused and still have the Vagabond BPO which is great. The guy was transporting them around and forgot to take them out, more fool him I live off the BPO profits, its great, I vote more idiotic T2 BPO owners visit lowsec Halo

Well though luck, I didn't even a scrambler fitted, but I did have 6x 1400mm II arties on my tempest, and short range ammos...instapop...well it was FULL of complex loots that sold for 8 billions isk, for me alone :) Beat that :) ---------------- An eye for an eye make a whole world blind.

My freind was outlaw in a temp, I wasn't and flying a stabber with a caldari ecm module. The tempest pilot had to leave after harrasing and after departing the raven decides a stabber is an easy kill. I scram and succesfully jam him (lol) and he panics, jumps through the gate into high sec. Right after the agg timer is up I jump and loot a load of faction / deadspace modules from his concordokken wreck worth around 3 bil or so. _______________________________ There is no signature.

VB Sarge	Posted - 2007.11.10 00:13:00 - [32] Watched a corp mate loot a 50 mil mining upgrade in a .5 system while we were flying around. I was in station getting more ammo... Same guy a few days later gets 2 Domination spawns in low sec while we were just hanging out gathing intel. I did get 2x True Sansha spawns in my first day headed to 0.0 on this guy. With a little luck, skill, and help from a new corpie, was able to solo them. 2 weeks later walked out with a TS Med POS BPC, eh total about 200 mil. My luck is only at lvl 1, maybe I should train it up some...52 set set HIKE!

Then if there is and it doesnt look too dangerous , I preceed to the set-up stage. I open my cargo window and have the loot targets window open ( make sure you have 'stealing enabled ') . I then select warp to station .... and hit afterburner ... and as you near 80% of max speed ie you are about to warp ; I transfer all the loot to my cargo hold . ( also be aware of not trying to take more than what your hold can handle, as this just gives you an error message and you finish with nothing ).Then I can just wait out the 15 minute timer grab a coffee and continue on my way ... And yes it can be a trap .. ( Ive escaped from a cloaked crow - wonder what he was thinking afterwards) but by the time they try and lock ... you are in warp and away ...takes a little timing but its not that hard. And funnily enough most of the traps use just one sample of ammo ... remember guys nothing ventured nothing gained ... try a 1000 Navy caldari missiles for better fishing !

Salvaged the wreck for a nice rig component, then looked into what had been left behind. I stayed docked for 15 minutes after swiping the Covops Cloak that had survived :)

Even though the guy had a chance to see that there were 5 other people in the system with him, he warped anyway. Dictor bubble caught him, he was scramed, and just before he died he said this in local. "Please no!" Upon checking his wreck, we found a Domi BPO that was well researched. His killmail revealed he also had a Raven and Geddon BPs along with several cruiser and BC BPs.

I was going to be a pirate, 'the Scourge of EVE'. Of course, I was a noob. CONCORD was a concept I did not understand. The only other MMOs I had played were PlanetSide (Full PvP, no high sec) and SWG (in which I never PvPed). All I knew is if its not friendly I'm supposed to kill it, and get loot. This was a good time in EVE. Pre-Missile Patch where Torps did full damage to shuttles, Ravens cost nearly 250% more to buy then make, and Torpedoes cost 3.3k isk. I was sitting outside of a station in Jita when a shuttle unlocked in front of me. It did not warp off instantly so I cycled on my Passive Scanner and my Cargo Scanner. One Raven BPO. Of course, I didn't actually know it was anything special at the time. I just knew I wanted a Raven. So I cycled on my missiles, and he popped sitting outside of the station (probably afk rolls eyes). Immediately, I was CONCORDed. I undocked as fast as I could only to see a new ship, one that had not been there before, sitting beside my loot can (this was before wrecks). I watched my can pop as he stole my loot. I learned what CONCORD was, and I did not attack. Nor did I know I, less then a month old, just lost 1billion+. Of course, I didn't actually know I lost more then a billion. I got a convo from the guy in the shuttle. "DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU JUST COST ME?!?" was the general idea of what he said. Even when he told me it was a Raven BPO I had no idea how much it was. I didn't really care that I didn't pick it up until he told me the price. Ok, I guess I didn't acually get a 1billion+ BPO in loot, but damn it I came close! **** White-Noise Nuff said.
