Well done on an awesome achievment!
It's great to see that there is another out there with the soul of an explorer, riding the cosmic fairways around the great wheel of our galaxy.
I am utterly inspired by your example and hope to do a similar pilgrimage in time.

This kinda reminds me of Innominate Nightmare and The 0.0 Experiment... but he actually wrote a story and his only goal was surviving as a noob in 0.0.
I miss the days before Innom was nerfed by the 800k SP starter patch.

Jeran - Great log and achievement. When I was younger I used to play elite on the C64 and my ambition was to visit each star system - alas never done. If I decide to stay with eve and get bored with mining I may become your disciple and try and repeat your adventure.

There are a couple of ways to 1-up this in terms of sheer OCD-related demonstrations of extreme patience. Not many and not easy, but a couple.
1) Visit every station. I think I went to every 0.0 station but the empire & low-sec ones tried my patience too much.
2) Visit every gate.
3) Traverse every gate in each direction.
4) Make deep safes in each system. I only safe-spotted the big systems or the places I slept. That came to about 300 or so. That's only 10% of nul-sec.

That was an amazing feat....and totally unbelievable for one who HATES to jump over 10 jumps to get anything :D hehehe...

Congrats to you and wonder how long before those jovian places will become freely passable?...could imagine you cutting the ribbon and taking the first jump inthere infront of alot of people...
(only to find that the jovians are warmongers and REALLY don't like visitors and get blow into pieces at the first spotting ;D).
I can almost imagine you sitting back and then thinking, what now?, any plans for new twists and such?.
Nomatter what i am still baffled at the shear size of your mission....

The news from Empyrean Age just keeps getting better:
"The Cheetah has had its model changed. It will now use the Probe hull instead of the Vigil Hull."
So now, not only do I have to fly a new set of 60 systems, but I'll be in a different hull without having to do any more training. Cool :)

On the road again.
Interesting to see my first faction warfare zone.
Lots of Caldari Control Bunkers around, and beacons for various missions.
It's low-sec though.
