Hello fellow community.
As I've came across a setup, where I could just fit a Micro Capacitor Booster II instad of a Small Capacitor Booster II, I found something very interesting.
All T2-Capacitor Boosters have a duration of 12 seconds, like the best named ones and a little bigger storage for booster-charges.
The Micro Capacitor Booster II however has a duration of 15 seconds, which is very annoying, as there are no Named T1-Modules available of this type, as they just don't drop as Loot.
Is this just a mistake, or is this intended? The 3 seconds more duration do express in 1.1 lower Cap-Bonus / second, which is a huge amount on Frigates.
Please bring them inline with the others CCP .

I'm betting with the setup he's trying, he can't fit a cap battery, or else he'd be able to fit a small instead of a micro cap booster
Micro cap boosters are ideal on some setups where grid is tight. (ceptors and some dictors)

The micro cap boosters are easier to fit than the small cap boosters, so it makes sense that they're performance is lesser.
Besides, good luck finding a micro cap booster II on the market. I've never seen one. I just banked on the t1 micro cap boosters because they're price shot up and I've been saving a ton. I think they might've stopped dropping completely.

I think the "advantage" to T2 micro cap boosters is 2 m^3 more capacity
Pretty ****ty advantage in my mind. ------------------------------ One more soldier off to war... And one Velator in my hangars. |

Exactly. There is no advantage in using the T2-variant instead of the T1-Version. The Small Capacitor Booster II has 15m¦, so it's allready better then the Micro. If you use 200er Charges, well... there is something to discuss about, but I'm not using the biggest ones I can throw in.
It's Micro-Management that counts, when flying frigates, so I'm using 2x 100er Charges, but the Micro CapBooster II has 10m¦ so I'm wasting 2m¦ in comparison to the T1-version. The Small CapBooster II however get's an advantage here, as you can throw 3x 100er charges into it, saving time, as you don't have to reload so often.
It's: Boost, activate Module before the Neutralizer hits you again .

Why did they remove the micro injectors? Thats pretty lame they were good mods but not overpowered in any way.

Electrochem micro injectors are equally as effective as small injectors when going for max injection rate, that's why. Now the supply of micro injectors is pretty slim, I don't know if any more drop for that matter. ------------------------------ One more soldier off to war... And one Velator in my hangars. |
