You guys are a paranoid bunch. 
I'm very much looking forward to this. I can tell I'm going to be on it a lot. Any ideas when us beta users actually get to start playing?

I seriously doubt there is any malware in there seeing as it has aparently been aproved by CCP.
I do however think its a way to track surfing patterns, compile this and sell it to ad companies.
Thus if I was to use this I would set upp my spare computer to play this on and only only only surf for web-wars on it.
I know sounds a bit paranoid but a healty dose of paranoia is a good thing to have thise days.

Can't actually call this spyware or a spartan in a trojan horse. There is nothing secret about it.
All the surfing behaviour data gathering has to be done by design for the game to work. Glass humans are a mere "byproduct". "Sorry, we of course didn't intend this, but it happened."
It's nice living in 1984, isn't it?

I have some doubts about this webgame. When I see the screenshots, it is like we will play at Ogame, and this is not a good news.
Indeed, in Ogame, if you are in the first registered players, or lucky to be enough powerful shortly, you are defintively in the Top 10 of the universe. No one will try to attack you because they arrived too late to have enough ships for that, since the first build constantly ships too...
I hope that this game will have some limits, to permit anyone to have a chance. After all, if someone has Google, no one can have the same amount of income, so we will always produce less ships, etc... This will give first players an untouchable status.
(And please, don't tell me "If you want, you can", because you never tried this to say that, Ok ? ...)
