Am I the only ones who can picture all major fights in eve being settled through that rather then in game?

Makes me wonder just how long it will be before JGG is slapped with some hefty legal action based on copyright infringement (artwork, etc). I could care less though, WW is utter crap.

I dont see anywhere stating that they have permission to use CCP's property.

mk?
Once i see some reassurances this isnt simply a very subtle spyware designed to track your web usage, i'll be diving headfirst into this. I'd be scared, denizens of google.
ed: They've even included a search bar in the plugin. They could have at least tried to be subtle about it

Just because it says so doesn't make it true. Incidentally "Fair Use" is also considered as "used under license" for the cases where "Fair Use" applies. However, just because WW is free to play doesn't mean using someone else's content is licensed under "Fair Use".
Be that as it may, I am sure someone who's paid do look into it will sort it out. The WW concept is flawed though because for practical purposes there is an unlimited number of systems one can hold, which makes the whole thing rather pointless.

That's waaaay too paranoid for me. Besides I'm pretty sure it was announced under the fanfest.

I have to say it still isnt getting onto any of my PC's, due to the fact that it could very easily be spyware under all that fluff.
Fun idea, just too many unknowns for me to even consider. -

Edited by: Tamia Clant on 09/11/2007 23:32:06 Damn, that does sound interesting, but I'm still a bit skeptical about it. Could we have a CCP representative making an official announcement just so we can be sure it isn't just an elaborate way of getting spyware on our PCs?
