I have tried to help my fellow players in EVE, with a lot more work and time invested in and out of game than some members (abusers) of this community.
I've played long enough and invested enough to complain about something like this, so, NightF0x, who the hell are you ?

Ever seen 10,000 pilots unite one front ? Because that is how many people have invested time in the ship class, its required skills and its advantages (and draw backs).
And to your "did CCP change their minds" ? Yes.
.. Rollback, NPC cruisers too hard.
.. CONCORD in Yulai (?), pirates lost big time in game because of the outrage.
.. Cargo cans are jettisoned so scrap, now you get 15 minutes kill rights.
.. Can jump out of system after agressing, now you need a 30 second eternity before you can jump
.. Warp to 0, no longer 15km
And many more.
If you don't say damn all, then CCP will think it is cool.
Maybe a load of new players are counting on the older "carrier" capable players leaving so that they can become the new "top dogs".
But you are missing one thing.
The issue about EW-Resistant Motherships in low sec is just that, its restricted to MoMs. A normal carrier doesn't have these advantages in low sec, a normal carrier can be warp scrambled by a n00b ship Reaper with 1 point.
Sure, nerf MoMs, but don't nerf all the carrier pilots.
