basically my question is, can i withdraw an application from a corp once i submit one at an office? also if i just apply to another corp and get accepted, but then the first corp i applied to accepts my application will it automatically remove me from the corp i just joined?

yes you can withdraw an application. and just because your accepted doesnt mean your in the corp. it has to bounce back and forth like 3 times before your in a corp

Just ignore the accepted apps. You will only be in corp when you accept an accepted application. That sounds confusing, eh? :) --------- Technica impendi Caldari generis. Pax Caldaria!

Edited by: Jenny Spitfire on 10/11/2007 18:44:44 Click on corp tab then go to the corp applications. Find accepted apps then right click on the corp that you want to join that has accepted your app.
EDIT: If it helps then come back to forums and say "Jenny Spitfire, you r0xx :)" --------- Technica impendi Caldari generis. Pax Caldaria!

Not anymore, it's been changed a couple patches ago, now if your application gets accepted, you automatically change corps.
To the OP, if you join a corp, make sure you cancel all your other on-going apps, you can do this through the Corporation -> Members -> Application -> My Applications.

O rly? This new system is not very intuitive and if it is what you are saying, I give 2/10 for user friendliness. --------- Technica impendi Caldari generis. Pax Caldaria!

You apply, you get accepted, you are in the corp. How is that not intuitive?

I can imagine some people would like it to be like you'd think it is in real life, you can put out apps to multiple employers, and pick and choose between who wants to take you. Just expedites things. I liked it better the way it was, tbh.

Yes, you can withdraw your app from a corp.
The process goes like this.
1) You send in app 2) Your app is accepted, you becoem part of the corp right when this happens.
You can withdraw your app BEFORE it is accepted.
To do so: Neocome: Click "Corporation" Go to "Members" tab Go to "Applications" Tab Go to "My applications" Right click on the app, should be an option to with draw.
I THINK... Never had to do it before, but, pretty sure thats how it works.

The old app system was a bit of a pain.... the first corp I tried to join (out of game friend referred me, but wasn't CEO/director) didn't go so well, as I couldn't figure out where to review/accept this 'return offer', so I ended up with some other folks I knew who actually had time to help out the newb.
The new system is much better. Apply, get accepted, go play.
9 months later, I'm still with the same corp and helping out the newbs. Oddly enough, we don't have many who leave our corp for another.
As for withdrawing an app, just hit the withdraw button in the Corp window (my applications) anytime before the app gets accepted/denied. _______________________________
