I see fittings for the mega, but they seem more for PvP, any ideas of fitting a mega for missions? thanks.

7x 350mm Prototypes
1x Drone Link Augmentor
1x Optical Tracking CPU
3x Cap Recharger II
1x MFS II
4x Rat Specific Active Hardener IIs

There are no really good threads for mega mission running, I searched through all the old ones. Maybe that's because there is no single win setup for this ship and missions. Also it's not the best mission running ship out there.
Some missions you need a duel rep tank, others you dont need much tank so fit for more damage.
I use 350mm, much easier to fit, better tracking and very similar damage. Just a bit less range.
This would be my standard setup:
7x 350mm railgun II
1x tracking computer II, 3x Cap Recharger II
1x Faction LAR, 4x Rat Specific Hardeners T2, 2x MFS II
2x CCC, 1x rep amount boost rig
Hammerhead II's in dronebay.
Though I did Angel X with this setup and only had to pulse my rep a few times during the whole mission.

1x Named 100MN AB; 2x tracking computer II, 1x Cap Recharger II
1x Faction LAR, 2x Rat Specific Hardeners T2, 1x EANM II, 1x Beta CPR 2x MFS II
Same Rigs and Drones
Duel Rep:

4x Cap Recharger II
2x LAR II or faction LAR, 4x Rat Specific Hardeners T2, 1x Beta Cap Power Relay

flying a mega on missions you must be either a machoist or really in love wiht it i mean really or simply naiv
takes alot more time in a mega to do missions then for example in a domi
but ok
now on topic
in most level 4 mission you will find sniping with 425mm rails is the best option
tho there are rare cases where blasters with mwd will be much more effective like for example the blockade mission which actually is fun to fly in a mega
also very important do not forget to fit atleast one mining laser incase there are asteroids to mine in the mission
mining drones are fine too

I cant see blaster setups being viable in missions, remember you have no mwd in deadspace.
I think there are people like me out there who fly gallente and I have 6mil sp in gunnery and 1.5 mil sp in drones, and I also think the domi looks like a big turd.
I have gallente BS 5 sp my mission running options are the Mega & hyperion. Tanking bonus vs tracking bonus. Although the hyper has 8 guns the mega is more able to fit 2 mag stabs as it has more low slots, that and the tracking bonus give it more damage potential depending on your setup.
Though in a situation where you would only fit a single MFS on a mega the hyperion is prob a better option. Plus you may never need to duel tank a hyperion for a hard mission.
At the end of the day I think the lack of interest in this thread is an example of how unpopular the ship is for lvl4 missions.
