Scorp shield has 60% explosive dmg resistance, and only 19% thermal dmg resistance. With 50% hardeners, those will go to 90% and ~30%. Wouldn't it be better to skip the explosive hardener and fit two thermal hardeners?

Since in most big battles, the scorps are everyone's kill priority, using a tanked scorp to draw fire would be a nice move. But I'd use a scorp for EW. 4x multispec ECMs are probably my favorites, as you can cycle-jam 2-3 targets effectively. ********** Everyone deserves to die. You go first.

Lone hunting scorp using EW= 5 multis, 1 WD, 1 f-90, 1 stasis web. Fit for close range as u will prob be hugging gates.

The scrambler means you have to be within 7.5km for it to be effective, and with sensor dampers, you want to be more than 15km away.

Unless people mention "strength 2" or "7.5km", just take it for granted that everyone who says warp scrambler actually means warp disruptor.
Darkwolf	Posted - 2004.03.04 00:45:00 - [17] True enough. Even then though, I'm a little leery about using a 20km warp disruptor with only 4 sensor dampers. Safe range is 13km or so against a Raven with NO sensor boosters... Not much margin of error there.

Ordo Abchao	Posted - 2004.03.04 19:15:00 - [20] Best to follow The Enslavers,Negotiators (minues the disrupter, it's nice, but and mwd would be better), Outcastino's is great for a baitting as it can keep its shields up longer from more of a beating than any other ship build, but if you're plannning on going for long strike runs, you'll run out of charges and ammo fast as well as Darth Solo's. They are best all around builds. Order out of Chaos
