Sup,
Some of you may have heard of Evolution, some of you may not have. Here's a very brief history for those of you not in the know:
Evolution is one of the oldest corporations in the game that is still active, at over 8 years old. EVOL originally founded the alliance Band of Brothers but even predates that, having participated in the Great Northern War before the mechanic for alliances even existed.
EVOL is not currently in an alliance. We currently have no ambitions for Sovereignty, meaning that you will not get dragged into wars where you must log on to defend your assets. This also means that you need to be self sufficient without sov.
We make no requirements of your time, because we believe that this is a game to enjoy, not to be forced into. Yes, that's right, you only log in when you feel like playing, which hopefully is often, but if not that's fine. It should be emphasized that Evolution is a family, and thus, we're looking for PEOPLE rather than SKILLS. Even though we have a reputation for being elitist, that is simply not true; skills can be trained, but usually people cannot change.
A few quick details before I summarize; we do ask that you are logged into our IRC chat server and while you are ingame, we also ask that you are on Teamspeak so you can talk with the rest of the family. Evolution is a communist corporation with a tax rate of 50%; ships are provided by the corporation for ops, so you do not need very much ISK. Your assets, for the most part, are yours to keep, however when and if you are offered membership your assets become our assets. Inversely our assets become yours.
So, we have all these cool things to offer you; ships to fly, a family to live in, no requirements of your time. What, then, is EVOL looking for in a new member? Well, obviously, we want nice guys and girls, preferably with a desire to PVP, because that's what we enjoy doing. We'd like casual players because at the moment, we are not extremely active. Yes, that's right; EVOL may have 500 members on paper but our ingame numbers do not match that (since we don't require activity.) We are currently attempting to build numbers, so new members should have patience and the ability to entertain themselves. If you're hardcore, that's fine, just don't expect people on flying around ALL the time.
So, now for the TL;DR.
What is Evolution?
* A band of friends that dates back to pre-beta
* A family of sorts
* A communist corporation with bases all over EVE meaning we are very mobile
What we are looking for:
* Friendly and mature PVPers
* People, not SP (No SP limit, though if you're 2 weeks old you may want to go to EVE Uni first)
* Casual players who won't get frustrated if there's "nothing to do"
* Currently seeking all Timezones
* New family :)
What we offer you:
* A relaxed environment to play the game in
* People to play with
* An FC or two to organize things
* Ships and modules provided by the corp for ALL corporate operations
* No requirements of your time
What we would like from you
* Being registered on alliance and corp forums
* Being in IRC and TS while ingame
So, how do you apply? Simple, you can start one of the following ways:
* Contact any EVOL member ingame; Evemail, convo, a can in space, renaming your ship, whatever
* Join the channel "evol-recruitment" ingame (without the quotes)

Good luck securitas. I read your posts of your fleets on kugu. I'm very excited for the success you had. I was in my own battles having fun. Fought a zerg won, managed to do it small group on group. Getting my feet back for myself.
Pretty cool to see you be positive!
To anyone wanting to learn, or just experience some good pvp securitas is a great guy to fly with. |

More bumping. EU and US TZ would both benefit from Evol membership. Noob perspective: If you're not the worst possible player, maybe spent some time in E-Uni, but still have the occasional issue discerning between your posterior and your elbow, evol is a great corp. The amount of collective experience and support among the members is striking, and one of the things I like most about it. It's a game, it's meant to be fun, so the best plan is to get with folks who are generally not asshats.
