Oh well... we had a declaration from a small corp that lately (who knows why) only flies frigates. Weird, at the start they were used to fly cruisers !
Anyway, we're quite sure that is a sort of an alt corp, since they're all new players and so on...
Well, I think it's one of the most lamer thing one can do in EvE.
It simply means that you have not the attributes to do the "dirty" stuff by yourself. And... shame on you. (of course this last is in general)
P.S: Alexandra, would you like to contact me and maybe make me a sig in your style? I'm completely noob about graphic heheheh

TBH Techie we can more than hold our own. More fighters is always nice, however there is something beautiful about ganking someone against the odds...

TomB: End the speed-race. 1 propulsion mod allowed, make turrets affect ship attributes like +speed/+ab speed +agil for progressivly smaller/lighter turrets, -speed/-ab speed -agil for long-range. |

Well was a spirited opening but its fair to say the Mercenary Frigates won the first round of fighting after an hour long engagement in and around New Caldari system. Jericho Fraction brought a mixed force of Frigates with a Cruiser for backup and engaged a similar Mercenary Frigate fleet of Blackbirds and Vigils and Rifters in the main. Casaulties were scored on both sides and travellers in New Caldari were treated to an entertaining spectacle of Frigate duelling and fireworks against the night sky as Jericho swaped pithy press relations for cruise missiles and gave it a good old college try.
I was finally shot out of my own ship: a breacher class vessel "warwasp" by Mathews of the Mercenary Frigates after I pulled out too slowly from an illconceived attack run on his gate camping Blackbird cruiser.
That said though, it was exciting and good-natured and Jericho will certainly be back with more frigates to fight the Mercenary Frigates at their own game!

I must say it was a good fight. s0cks wasn't there, but my other character was . I was flying a Blackbird and I must say it was a real good laugh.
We made mistakes, you made mistakes. In the end we scored a few of your cruisers which is why i think you ultimatly left. Don't hold me to that tho! Great fun, coulda gone either way.
Unfortuantly another corp we are at war with turned up in 3 battleships, 1 cruiser, and frigate. Obviously not so sporty as JF, and I lost my BB. Boo hoo.
Hope to meet again!

you have no idea the crap I gave him for that.
Needless to say, if he'd been at the PC when you attacked, it would've been a different result.

It's not that we "mind" battleships at all, they are just so expensive, cumbersome, slow and expensive, did I mention they are expensive?
From a purely out of character perspective of "this is a game, and we're suppoed to have fun", Frigates and a few cruisers for the "astronomically rich" seems the better choice as it allows both sides in a war to experience the thrills of fighting someone with a brain rather than midless NPCs.
I certainly had fun last night, I took 2-3 cruise missiles up the tailpipe from one of your Kestrels, but managed to warp away and repair.
Last night we were all over space after putting the finishing touches on an operation for a client, we had a few pilots on their way back, so it wasn't until later in the fight that we could bring more ships into the battle.
Tonight we will be better prepared and perhaps have a few tricks up our sleeves 
I can't speak for the others, but I think we should try and leave our battleships in their hangars. If you do see a (FRIG) pilot in one it's because other people we're at war with are using theirs. We usually dont bring battleships unless there's something big to shoot at.
One Battleship: 60 million + 5-10 million in modules
One frigate: 500K - 1 million + 50-150K in modules
The math of fun in this game does itself, doesn't it...

I'd also like to add that we wasn't gonna pod you guys, but s0ck's alt got podded yesterday (we figure it was unintentional from a rogue missile), but I'd personally be willing to forego the chance of podding, not that I have huge clone expenses or implants, just that it helps cut costs slightly.

I was born without eyesight. All i sense are evil and friendly forces. Without the distraction of pretty colours and beautiful scenery I am the ultimate fighting machine!! 
Well we'll see.
And just for the record. Schani got it wrong. JF didn't pod my alt. They podded shiver me timbers. I rekon it was an instapod tho - by cruise missiles. Shiver did loose about 5 ships that night tho

Yeah Riz I know what you mean. I'm getting really tired of the alt frig corps full of people who aren't willing to really risk anything. It really is the gheyest thing in EVE. I have more respect for the furries who at least admit who they are.

Except, for the majority, we're not alts and I personally have 40mil worth of implants plugged into my head I'm more than happy to blitz about in a vigil/kessie or blackbird.

I'm annoyed about alt corp decs cos I fight solely with my main. I think 99% of all the wars dec'd on Jericho has been with alt corps. I'm ****ing sick of it.
Please, get some integrity and guts.

No, we have plenty alts applying but our active players are all originals afaik.
Just have a little look at our histories, it'll all make sense
EDIT:- We also have a few newer players, looking to start off their career in piracy with some cheap and easy PvP. I personally think we're a good corp for learning in with plenty of experience to share
