what about racism and anti-semitism?
goons spread their message of race hate all over the place and it doesnt take alot of searching to turn up evidence of it in the form of forum posts,screenshots,recordings of their directors speaking and ill wager that anybody that has ever fought goons has killed a ship named with the impolite version of negro
only recently on caod it seems to be vietnamese that were the target of their jokes and CCP appears to do nothing about it more than deleting posts
i agree with the op its time bans started gettign handed out and based on ip/account details not just on the character involved
CCPs lack of action on this issue is a clear message that they condone this obnoxious behavour
i would suggest to the op (or anybody else) that of you are truely offended by any of this and you feel that goons are spoiling your game then tell people about it,spread it around that this group of people promoting their vile veiws in a game called EVE and that CCP are doing nothing about it

having said that tho if people dont agree with the goons offensive ways then why dont they leave?
im sure that if i was in an alliance that constantly broke the terms of service and offended people as often as they could i would get out as fast as possible incase somebody thought that i agreed with them
no i think that all members of the swarm are in agreement with the public persona their alliance presents

im amazed at how many people in this thread seem to have similar views
its as if to say, oh goons they cant help it they are just simpletons expressing themselfs the only way they know how and we should just all put up with it,its just their sense of humour
its that attitude thats led to caod looking the way it does
sometimes i wonder what the point is of having any rules at all as they only seem apply to some people and not to others

there is a lot of fluff in this thread,alot of irrelavant rubbish but lets try and cut thru that to the facts,this is not about bob vs goons this is about goons and their unacceptable behaviour
constant racism,words i cant even type on this forum and use of the phrase "jewing it up" we have all heard this

anti black comments,anti *** comments the list goes on and its been blatant and in peoples faces over a long period of time now
CCP have to start punishing these people,this stuff cant be swept under the carpet any longer
they have repeatedly broken number 3 of the EVE Online terms of service aswell as numbers 1 and 2 and most likely many others... number 15 perhaps? maybe somebody from goons can explain how their behavour doesnt break the tos? would love to hear it
people have said what about the players in goonfleet that arnt like that? i strongly suggest those players distance themselfs from goons and quickly because as far as myself and many other players are concerned if you are a member then you are like that
goons are currently making a mockery of CCP and being genuinely offensive while they do it
i think its time CCP enforced their own rules

now thats all well and good if they choose to be offensive thats up to them,i am simply pointing out that collectivly they have broken several clearly stated rules over a period of time and im just interested to see what CCP is going to do about it
if CCP chose to change the tos then i wouldnt have an argument so maybe thats what should happen
