Tryed a mission today ( 4th march 14:00 ) sent me to a moon i could only warp within 5000km of the moon so i spend a long time flying towards it and tryed to do scans the whole way in nothing then tryed flying round the moon still nothing i think its fair to just give up until they release another patch

the fact that a location mentioned in the log doesnt seem to mean that it's that exact location, for instance in my log told me that there would be something that the serpentis were growing in the moonshine of moon 7 in the system, but the flotsams I found werent at moon 7, they were in fact at moon 5, 2000 kms from it, but had to travel 3000 kms with a mwd from a station to get to it.
There is prolly something in those systems, so scan with maximum scan range and see if you can find anything at that distance.
just hope these locations are overall more worthwhile then the one I visited

Maybe, I'll take a closer look at one of the ones I got later.
I doubt that's the case though, it sounds like you got incredibly lucky.

So far i have some 6 diffrent type of serpentis log gathered i the same system. Some are the same, and they do stack.
They indicate activity in both empire and 0.0 space
Again haven't bothered checking the leads out

i know got 6 ( 8 total but 2 are the same ) And i have checked 1 out that was close by, said i needed to go o this planets moon... well i mwdrived towards the moon ( 4000 +/- KM ) only thing i got to see is that the moons ar huge when being 1km away from it :) and when u fly into the moon u sort off see a shockwave, but anyway no loot/secret stuff/or anything.. its bugged and ccp clearly doesnt like to admit it either they would have 'spoken'

My guess is the devs didn't provide the scenarios just yet incase the logs were dropped in the millions (like the bonus rewards of 4 original moa blueprints after a previous patch). So once it's proved that they are dropping at the pace the devs wanted they will load up the scenarios.

My guess is the devs didn't provide the scenarios just yet incase the logs were dropped in the millions (like the bonus rewards of 4 original moa blueprints after a previous patch). So once it's proved that they are dropping at the pace the devs wanted they will load up the scenarios.

Has it occurred to anyone that the message you are reading just might not be clear language. For example "Must do what the master wants, have to pick up a delivery from a moon near Nausschie" might as well mean "wife told to pick up eggs from the store while coming back home from work" or "must leave Jonenor Constellation"...
Anyway, if you think it for a while. Why would they write ship logs in clear language just for you to pick them up  That'd be stupid eh?
Bring the documents to the authorities and you'll be rewarded. Let them do the deciphering...

Logs Are worthless.... The Static Spawn Locations Mentioned within them are/have been taken out of the game a While ago. Refine the logs.. get some minerals and move on!
