Yeah theres a texture for a blue planet, you see them every now and then. They're about as common as the ones with the lightening storms.

I did a query of the database to locate the most likely earth analogous planet taking into account surface temp, gravity and whether or not the planet was in the "comfort zone" of its parent star.
My analysis lead me to discover that there is only one. its Enedore II in Gallente space. Its 1.595 AU from is parent star. it has a year of 519.78 earth days, an average surface temp of 14C and gravity of 9.5m/s^2. i believe this planet has just a standard rocky/desert texture.
I used the data from here for my comparisons.
I used the calculations from here to work out the Life Band for the stars in Eve.
I can make the spreadsheet used to do the calculations available if anyone wants to see it (its 20 odd MB so i'll only upload it if anyone actually wants it)

this game really does need a 'space' overall
Its got to be the most totally bland space game ive seen. sorry but it is. its just lifeless.
With all these ppl it would nice to see some sort of community happening. Structures in space that have life, moving parts, ships that are not just orbiting a jump gate, better backgrounds, having the same background, but jsut filter a different colour, hmmm.
Planets need more realism..Thats why i liked x3 its full of life somethings happening, you can chat to npcs, animated players come up etc etc.
and no you cant have my stuff ive played too long..but to be honest i really am getting bored..i hope trinity brings me back to life
