So what IS the principal differnce between /b/ and SA? they both are used to post **** and call themselves superheroes, which they are not.
To me it's just that SA is more elitist making the BoB of the internet.

/b/ is where people go to pretend to be idiots (or to pretend to only be pretending) when they have nothing better to do. There is recognition that /b/ is not (and possibly was never) good.
People pay to get on SA. I mean, LOL.
Of course, these are just my speculations. I'd probably actually have to go to /b/ and/or SA to actually know.

I have seen a fairly succesful /b/ themed alliance in another online game. Think it numbered 200 members (No alts allowed so that was the actual number). /b/ isn't really a bonding community like SA that is able to gather a large group for online gaming.

How about a rephrase?
Instead of calling it a /b/ alliance call it a long term raid. All other alliances must be destroyed due to AIDS.
Although a more functional raid would be to create an army of alts and attempt to crash Jita, but that's not really what this is about.

/b/ is only legion in its anonymity. Without that /b/ does not band together well. Thus a chan corp would not last.
However our spread is more insidious this way. Since after all there is a /b/tard in every alliance, meaning in the end we already are everywhere.
We just lack the cohesion ebaums anonymity grants us.
