eve was working fine earlier today.... well i come back and start it up, goes to w/e is just past preparing bulk data (or w/e it is) but then box closes, but the actual game dosnt startup... i try to hit login and it gives me the box about the clients local session info is corrupt. i've tried restarting my comp and still nothing... any ideas or do i get to reinstall it ? <.< __________ [-WSI-] "In the name of God, impure souls of the living deal shall be banished into eternal damnation. I am having the exact same problem. It started just after downtime for me. I had been on Sisi during DT to help with the desync issue. Also, of my multiple accounts, only this one is affected. The logserver doesn't flag anything. I have tried cleaning my cache and reinstalling the client twice now. I'm not sure if this is a Windows issue or rather something to do.
Final Requiem: Out of interest, were you on Sisi for the desync thing, or have you recently updated a cloned client for the test server? That is the only thing I can think of that could have screwed me up. There was a lot of futzing around with EVE Voice last night. Any CCP input on this would be great.

Ok, now it is actually throwing exceptions, which I suppose is a good thing, or at least an improvement.

Exactly same for me, tranq was working fine for me thismorning but I got a bit bored and went on test server (different install ofc). I came back to use tranq on my other install and got same error messsage as you guys. I tried restarting my client, no joy, I tried restarting my comp, no joy, I uninstalled eve and reinstalled, no joy.
I have 2 accounts and only the one with this character is effected, even tho I run both accounts off the same client (like I have done for years no probs)
Very strange.

ok, make sure you have your comp to show hidden files then go to C:\Documents and Settings\(user name)\Local Settings\Application Data and delete everything inside the CCP folder. it'll get rid of your cache and it fixed it for me atleast :\ __________ [-WSI-] "In the name of God, impure souls of the living deal shall be banished into eternal damnation. tried clearing cache folder, tryied reinstalling even did a windows system restore to a previous point, nthing...anyone got an idea about this .bin file or folder would mean...some1 said delete the .bin file or folder i couldnt understand which?

YOGO, try deleting exactly the folder Final Requiem was talking about. not the cache fold just in your EVE folder nad also not My Documents one.
