I keep bringing up the point about the northern evacuation because it remains as the best example of the ways in which BoB showed they didn't have the time or didn't care when it counted. In reference to the loss of Armageddion Dawn and that partciular fight in FAT. I havn't a clue if a BOB titan could have saved it or helped in any way. Again, I'm not advocating BoB's death. I'm trying to clear some of the heads in this thread that seem to think we still owe anyone anything. We need to keep a clear head about this and do what needs to be done one way or another. Most everyone here knows my stance on Goons, so i'll leave that be. I know the leadership is working all the angles and I'm satisfied with that. Just realise that when the call comes down some people aren't going to be happy either way.

I'm here trying to get people heads out of their asses and let them see this, imho, in a more mercenary light.

Well, you are assuming that BOB is going to win this war. They arent. They are going to get their ass handed to them in the not to far future IMO. And even if we were to rejoin the war on their side, all that would do would be to delay the loss. The core of BOB doesnt even bother to log on anymore. BOB is not the same BOB of a year or even 6 months ago.

So, do we insist on going down with the ship? Or start to explore new avenues in the universe? BOB was never going to last forever. Nothing ever does in these games. And we cannot be so limited in our thinking that we need to ride it out to the end. Just my opinion. But the most important thing to remember here is.

BOB is going to loose, and not much can stop it.

The reason I was dissatisfied with the explanation over the Branch evacuation is that only a month earlier I had been suffering exactly the same problems with Tiscali routing of EVE traffic as Chowdown claimed to be suffering, and KNOW that the problem had been fixed. Even then, other traffic was not affected and Chowdown was on MSN all day, but didn't reply to me or attempt to contact us. I have more isk locked in up there than the rest of my corp combined, but I got over it a while ago, and don't see the need to continually bring it up.
