Every week in the Warp Drive Active PodCast Winterblink (The Canadian) and Urban Mongral (the Brit) will bring you the goings on in EVE (except for the stuff we miss, forget or deliberately ignore).
Warp Drive Active Podcast is part of the VirginWorlds Podcast Collective
Click here to listen/download Episode 20
Show 20, Fanfest special no.1 (Don't worry guys, we will have a normal show this week too!) Some awesome interviews with some of the CCP Dev's
First up Urban has a chat with Noah Ward AKA CCP Hammerhead, the lead designer for EVE. Urban demonstrates his utter noobishness by getting the name of the patch wrong! We talk about Drone bandwidth, the fighter changes, Titans, Tech2 Battleships, Torpedo changes, Graphics engine update and the Ambulation Project.
More material on the Fanfest has been put up by the fine folks at EVETV. You really have to check out the recordings of the key-notes they have put up-.
Blinky points out that senior citizens in Canada are looked after while in the UK they are forced to sing for our amusement.
Next up is the interview with CCP Dev's Lemousse and Eris Discordia who discuss Ambulation in great detail. YAAAAAY there will be (something like) Poker in Ambulation! We are still worried about the uncanny valley though.
Please give us I tunes reviews
Lead out tune 'These boots were made for walking' by The Hobos.**
Beyond that, just the usual random sidetrackage, gibbering and tinfoil hattery.
**A special choice in honor of Ambuluation!

Kweel, will listen to it at home while the missus watches that 'I'm a celebrity get me out of here' crap on the TV. Just a quick question, did the lads do a podcast where they mentioned tanking and how mixing active and passive modules negated the stacking penalty? Anyody know which podcast that was?

During Urban's interview with hammerhead, they are talking about the carriers. They mention the thread with the devblog, and hammerhead says that it was 50 page long. But Urban then says that it was 109.
Goon bashing anyone?

The initial thread about Zulupark's blog came to 110 pages. Nobody was bashing anyone.

I was more refering to the fact that 109 is the amount of points goonswarm brang to one of the alliance tournament fights.
So could be a nice reference

Second page? Time for another bump.
Another triumph! The Eris and LeMouse interview is a bit quiet but otherwise great stuff.
And I know exactly what you mean abut Matrix on Imax Blinky. I saw the second film on Imax and spent most of the film staring at people's old acne scars.

my idea about ambulation is not so much a mood, but more a way to see that the female character you encounter is actual a male in real life. I think it would be cool if all females that are actually male would look like transvestites :-). How is that for an uncanny valley ?

Ok well, also i hope they do the walking right, if you are inclined to have a really fat avatar, it would be nice if it walks a bit like a duck instead of an slim athlete with a pillow tied in front.
Also i would like to see implants stuck just below the skin. Or maybe a rash where the neural plug enters the back of your skull. So your avatar keeps rubbing it.
Also maybe a lump in your jacket where you keep your over sized handgun.
Amd as mentioned in fanfast peeps who often use boosters should develop facial ticks. And suppose you have low standings with the faction that owns the station your avatar should be uneasy and glance around the room often.
