I do believe that is true. I can't imagine a news report saying 'an individual known only as jam6549 has gone on a killing spree slaughtering 15 men, women and children. Also he is racist.'

actually yes.. you are not allowed to be racist against other ingame races... even though it is totally stupid, but that is the rules as i recall :S

Depends which direction you're going. Could be going north -> south -> north.

Real life racist comments or real life racist talk thinly masked as in-character talk are both not allowed.
However, in-character racism is fully possible. As well as scamming, corp theft, killing other characters etc. which would get you in jail in real life - as long as what happens in the game stays in the game.
I understand this question surfaced at least in the intergalactic summit joke thread, where it was clarified.

Aslong as the comments are related to ingame matters like dispising amarr if you're minmatar then its allowed however RL references are not

In RP terms I hate all caldari, however this lead to some good fights with a Caldari RP alliance and some of their guys were pretty cool about it.
There's also some hypocrisy in it all as I often fly beside caldari pilots and fly caldari ships. I believe the rule in it all is don't be too serious about hating in game races as it's all in good fun.
We almost won.
