Mangala Solaris Red Federation RvB - RED Federation 15	Posted - 2011.09.06 11:47:00 - [1] - Quote Red vs Blue What is RvB? R-V-B is a long standing P-V-P institution that began back in 2007. The premise of RvB is two corporations, Red and Blue, which are constantly at war with eachother. You choose a side, join up and are welcome to get into action immediately. A significant portion of the fighting in RvB takes place in frigate and cruiser size hulls there are ample opportunities to kill and use every type of ship. We are currently operating in the Lonetrek region. Red HQ is in Hageken IV (Caldari Steel)and Blue HQ is in Autaris I (Concord Assembly Plant). RvB has two main rules. The first is no podding fellow RvB members and the second is no mid slot ECM jammers are allowed except on your own HQ. (Note: None of these rules apply in low sec, null sec or against 3rd party WTs). You can see the others here. So, Why join RvB? The most appealing aspect of RvB is the target-rich environment of other pilots looking to get fights. RvB provides pilots the opportunity to for anything from 1v1s, small gangs, to large fleets, free-for-alls, monthly brawls(imagine 50+ pilots with free cruisers going at it). RvB offers an excellent ship replacement program to its pilots. In RvB you won't be forced to log on to defend sov or camp a gate, you're welcome to log on as little or often as you like. RvB has an open door policy, anybody is welcome to join and you're welcome to leave and come back as soon as you desire. The pilots in RvB range from 2003 to 2011, you will be able to fight with and against veteran pilots as well as those brand new to the universe. So regardless of skill or wealth, you will be able to find fights suitable to you. RvB provides pilots with the opportunity to get hundreds of kills each month without the strings of the typical corp. New to PvP? Whether you've been shooting asteroids for 5 years or finally got tired of playing your orc warrior in WOW RvB is the best place to get your first taste of PvP. RvB does not force you to attend long classes, wait a month to jump through the hoops of our recruitment process, or follow a strict set of rules. Instead we offer new pilots to learn through the most effective way, experience. There are plenty of veteran pilots who will give you all the 1v1s you want and at the same time provide you with all the fits, tips, pointers, and help that you will need to become a spaceship killing machine. All you have to do is send in an app to whatever corp needs pilots and you'll be accepted within 24 hours (but more than likely sooner) and you can get right into the fray! Generally there are standing fleets for both sides out hunting each other, lead by an experienced FC. Though there is nothing to say you can't just roam out on your own. Most fun I've had playing Eve hands down. Recommend giving it a try. My main character just seems boring to play now.

Had to L2P again, did some missions and decided to go back to RvB to relearn PvP. I loved RvB when I was in it back in 2009, then 'grew up' and tried Null and low sec, ending up in FW before I quit. Returning to RvB was the best move ever. Last night, two epic fleet battles took place in Vellaine and then Akonoinen. Both battles lasted seemingly ages as people reshipped and fed back in. I ended up losing 2 Rifters and a Jaguar, but got on 28 enemy KMs including 2 BS, 5 BCs, 8 Cruisers and a Rapier. Definitely the place to be for anyone wanting to cut their PvP teeth or get back the 'twitch'. Shout out to "Citizen Smif" for a great Rifter 1v1. We were both in structure and he looked like he was slightly better off when I capped out and my Armor Repairer, AB, Web and Scram all shut down. Then he popped to my surprise and delight. Twice last night, I limped back to station with flames and smoke trailing behind me.
