Once upon a time, RvB held a rather large Frigate FFA. 100,000 fitted frigates kind of large!
However turned out killing more than 50k or so of the things was mindnumbingly boring.
So the remainder just sat gathering dust in the POS that we stored them in and occasionally used for small FFA's run by Zakhs.
I decided that rather than them sitting there till the server goes down, or the POS magically dies, we will make them available to all of our members to use as they see fit.
Numbers of Frigs
This event, which we have entitled Free Frigate Summer, will feature 40,000 free frigates for RvB Members to take from a red pos and a blue pos and use to explode members of the other corp, use on roams, refit, hand to newbros and so much more.
It begins today at 18.00!

This weekend we once again are running what we call "Frigatus".
This is a weekend long event were only T1 frigates are allowed to be used by all our pilots and were fleets are limited to 10 pilots or less. A size limit like this gives everyone an opportunity to try their hand at FCing as well as join fleets and not feel like their lowly T1 frigate is of no use.

RvB is moving!
We have made the decision to move closer to lowsec to provide more NPSI action for our pilots and give them more experience of the combat offered by the rest of EVE.
To that effect by 15th June we expect all our pilots to be here:
Red Federation HQ - Oisio III Moon 1 - Hyasyudo Corporation Refinery
Blue Republic HQ - Oshaima IV - State Protectorate Logistic Support
The sooner everyone moves there, the better it will be for us all. New pilots are encouraged to move there rather than the current systems in the Forge. Red Frog are graciously assisting us with our move.

The thing i love about RvB is how fluid fights can be... it might start as a couple of frigates on the undock, move off to a gate or to a belt to chase someone and very soon we have pretty much everyone in corp slamming cruisers, bc's and battleships into one another repeatedly.
If you want instant on PvP, if you want a place that couldn't give less care in the world about a blue list a mile long, if you want a place where you can try your hand at pvp in 1v1's and get an honorable fight all wrapped up with no ECM and no podding... then RvB is the place to be |

Hell All,
I'd like to give an old toon's perpestive who has lived my entire EvE life in NULL since before SUPERS were around, seen the small PvP turn to large fleets, then to the dreaded TiDi and everything in between.
As I work a lot and have a busy family life, I needed to find a home that would allow me to log in, instantly find something to blow up and have no commitments to long, drawn out, SOV fights, etc.. I found that home with RvB! They do not require a set amount of play time, you log in when you please, and there is ALWAYS a fight to be had. There are of course rules in place and seeing as it is organized, these rules do work such as no podding, honor 1v1's, and we even ensure fair fights when fleeting up against each other.
At first I assumed that because this was in Empire most pilots would be noobs, carebears, and generally bad at PvP but boy was I wrong!! Most of the pilots are exactly like me, lots of experience, lots of SP, lots of ISK, and looking for instant PvP against like minded pilots. Personally, I have always played with PvP as my only goal, and feel I have a good knowledge of tactics and ship fittings but even I have learned new tricks flying with and against the pilots of RvB.
RvB is a straight-forward institution. There are two high-sec corporations, the Red Federation and the Blue Republic, with a permanent war declaration between them. Any player may join either side as they wish and indulge in target-rich PvP, the focus of which is on inexpensive frigate and cruiser combat. It really is that simple: Apply to one of the corps, the application will be accepted, jump in a ship, start PvPing.
