You are only guaranteed to be able to complete all the missions from all the COSMOS agents, so that is at leat 6.0 (that is the minimum req. for the final lvl4 agents). How much above that - can't tell. Remember that you also get a big boost in standing towards particular corporations, thus granting you access to better agents for regular missions. The corp standing increase can be shared with fleetmates (great way to boost multiple chars up in standing), the faction standing cannot. We are slowly selling out our stock, but there are a few left. Current price is 500m for the complete set, don't know for how long though. Discounts for bulk sales still apply, negotiated individually. It's a great way to invest you ISK, boost your standing, and try something new in EVE.

I am intrigued by the idea, but I am looking for some assurance that my half bil isn't getting scammed off me. Do you sell these as in game contracts? Also, I have had a very hard time following the various COSMOS guides around (it doesn't help that one of the main ones is in German and I don't speak German ) so would it be possible to see a sample of your guide to see if it makes sense to me? At this point, I am about bored to tears running missions to try and grind standings so I am eager to look at options like these COSMOS kits. To confirm, you guarantee that (so long as the toon starts with Social V) that it will end up with at least 6.0 Caldari State faction standings when this is all over? Also, this is just 35 or so missions, right? Nothing personal, it's just that it seems hard to believe that it's possible to get what I want so comparatively easily (vs. grinding for storyline missions) and this is EVE after all where scamming is prevalent, so forgive my suspicions that this is not as good as it sounds.
Qanthelas Hard Knocks Inc. 0	Posted - 2012.02.15 14:37:00 - [12] - Quote I just wanted to let anyone reading this forum post know that I convo-d Takashi in game and he was quite helpful in explaining things (and dealing with my paranoia ) I did a rough price check on all the items in this pack and if you were to buy them seperately it could cost upwards of 625M, so 500M is a good deal for both parties (we get a discount, Takashi gets them all sold at once - the market for some of these items individually looks rather slow, contract only for most of them, too.) I have now purchased one pack and it was delivered to a convenient highsec station in a station container. I will write here again after working through some COSMOS missions.

Unfortunately, it turned out that doing all COSMOS missions with a fresh character is somewhat problematic. To ensure that you are able to do them all without interruptions please make sure you have your unmodified standing towards Caldari at around 2.0. This allows smooth transition between agent levels and lands you at at least 6.0 required to talk to lvl 4 agents. Final standing depends on your base standing and social skills, we can do the math for you. We also help with any difficulties along the way. TL;DR - Give us 500m, and we make sure Caldari State likes you a lot and you get some cool toys in the process.

Yes, there were still a whole bunch of courier missions and some kill missions to do, but this sped things up quite a bit. I started with around 1.9 Caldari standing, once I got above 5.0 I did the higher end dogtag turn ins (cost probably 100m for 5 of them I think?) and I just finished the last COSMOS mission an hour ago or so. Since this is EVE and 'screenshots or it did not happen', here are the screenshots of the loot I got and my end standings. http://imgur.com/a/IrsJ3 Note that this was all done with Social V. The faction standings gains were often lower than the guide I was following suggested. I opened an in-game ticket and got a reply from a GM saying that no, my game is not bugged, yes the standings gains were correct, and no they are not allowed to talk about exactly what the gains are or should be. I find this quite odd, but whatever. At least you can look at my screenshots and see what I got - perhaps this varies, I have no idea.

Also - thanks a lot for the screens! I hope they make more ppl get interested in COSMOS, once they see how sweet the rewards are. We currently have 2 last kits for sale (price does not change - 500m), so if you want yours right away - now is the time, as next will take some time to make. No capsuleers will be left empty-handed - convo for delivery times and possible discounts. Caldari COSMOS - the end game in hi-sec solo PVE. Do you have the carebear in you to face it?

Only once per character. If you are considering doing them yourself - a lot of the items are boring as frack to find/wait for spawn, so you end up buying them from contracts anyway. If you want to further improve your Caldari Standing, I recommend doing Caldari and Sisters of Eve epic arcs (doable once every 3 months), data centers (dogtags for standing, doable once) and/or circle agents (doable once) If you want to grab more COSMOS rewards (a wise move, if you ask me), I suggest doing them with your alts or invite corpmates. The more the merrier, and we have bulk sales discounts, negotiated individually. It's a great way to introduce someone to EVE, as they can quickly boost their standings towards Caldari and particular NPC corps (my friend with a 2 weeks old character unlocked himself a lvl4 agent) and have opportunity to earn ISK fast (said friend just sold a reward implant for over 100m - a lot of money for a newbie - and we are on the way for the 700m implant. I punch those numbers in my calculator and it makes a happy face). Corp standing boost can be shared, which is nice. Get your kit now, while the standard price lasts - 500m per kit.

I have now done the Caldari COSMOS missions on two characters, Qanthelas and Qaldramas, both times using a kit purchased through Takashi Ishikawa's associates. It works great! You need to get your Caldari State standing up to around 1.5 before you start to be sure you'll have access to the higher level agents when you need them but this can be done fairly easily with the level 1 data center agents and some circle agents. I've written up a blog post that includes the faction gains I got both times, comparing them - I didn't get exactly the same gains both times, apparently this is part of the game mechanic that CCP is fairly hush-hush about for reasons I don't fully understand. Click here for the blog post. Thanks again to Takashi and company for helping me check another thing off my EVE 'To Do' list :)

The missions (kill) are doable solo no problem, but take place in lowsec system (we provide intel/scout/help). REMINDER FOR CUSTOMERS: Once we set up a contract for you, please accept it within 48h (the sooner the better). There are others waiting for their kits, too! Caldari COSMOS Kit - we make the arc a walk in the park.

The price is 500m, the kit contains every single that can be collected before accepting a mission from a Caldari COSMOS agent. So, apart from couriers and some kill missions, the process is a cycle of "accept mission-complete missions-get reward", as you have most of the requested items already in your cargohold. Rewards easily reach 1b from the arc, not to mention huge faction standing boost towards Caldari. We provide help with missions where necessary.

You load it to your cargo from the kit, accept the mission - instacomplete - get rewards (plus faction standing increase for each agent) - repeat for each mission/agent. Some kills and couriers to be done as the items are unique (not included in the kit), covops indy recommended. All missions are doable solo, the guide has all the details with recommended ships. In the end you have around 1b in implants, BPCs and storyline modules. Oh, and Caldari State just loooves you. We can help with any mission, provide scout, intel - whatever is needed. As for the Amarr COSMOS - no plans for that yet, will keep you informed. PS. You may see what a kit looks like by searching for any item needed in the arc, like Gunslinger Spur, and check the 500m contract by Lucky Aubrey - that's us. We try to always have one public contract, but we prefer private (almost no tax). All our kits are the same as the one on the public contracts.
