Edited by: Ironshirt on 22/11/2007 02:01:34 Edited by: Ironshirt on 22/11/2007 02:00:11 I'd love to know what he's been smoking!
I think you'll find that IM wouldn't have come to nDek without the support of HOBO and their spies.
Lack of killmail posting was a problem before HOBO jumped-ship. Our boards are synched, but obviously not regularly enough to stroke HOBO's egos. The comment posting lockdown was temporary. Oddly enough we don't want non-alliance members messing with our killboard.
Quote: In conclusion, it is refreshing these engagements are not being reduced to who has the most capital ships as most 0.0 has become as of late.
No, it's who can hide until an easy target comes along.
Quote: We shall fight you whereever you may lurk Destiny, your days are numbered.....
It seems as though you guys are the ones lurking. The reason we're not getting so many kills is that there are only a few of them, and it's nigh-on impossible to find a cloaker that doesn't want to be found.
Their propaganda post on our forums met with similar derision to this thread. As did the evemail they sent to "a select few".
BTW, port22: If you want to buy the corpse, 5n4keyes has it.... |

We started this little campaign without Hobo.
But didn't come out to 0.0 until after they'd war decced us and you had their intel and backup.

Fair enough about not wanting outsiders messing with things. My posting was above board and was only in the interests of making sure things were synch'd, which they were not. This stopped the endless smack regarding how we were not doing great against you guys, and how we were not posting losses. As far as I can currently see, the boards on both sides are now accurate. This is a fact not up for discussion.
However, whoever it was that did post those mails used the name "Censorship", rather than having the guts to use their own name. Tactical delay isn't censorship...

Your Alliance leaders pulled out their epeen, waved it around a little, then put it away when we called their bluff about coming to your home systems and would not engage on their terms.
Yet you STILL hide.

LOL Nightsabre's not in Destiny, and Shots17 is in TRI. Are you calling them out too, port22?

Edited by: Ironshirt on 22/11/2007 19:51:19 Also, if you're so hotly against Censorship, why no comments about the mods editing posts here that are against you?
What does "OOC post" mean, and why delete relevant comments because of it?

Originally by: Sber Allow me to weigh in as an "unhappy" corp. We're leaving for several issues and problems with the alliance. I'm all for loyalty, but there is obviously something wrong if we decide to leave within a few weeks.
I'll start by mentioning the recent issue with killing off members of my corp. Its not up to Sn4ke to make it his "mission" to try and solo kill "isk farmers". As we know it backfired, he got humiliated and now his corpse is being requested for isk, but thats besides the point. The first time this happened Snake was more concerned with popping my members then defending OUR HOME SYSTEM WHILE REDS WERE PRESENT. Also several people in the gang were spamming my members with gang invites and trying to lure them into a trap. THAT is just ridiculous.
The fact that he singled out accused "ISK FARMERS" in my corp and leaving countless others ratting during an alert alive is utterly ridiculous.
Another issue is the lack of organization in the alliance and the lack of respect for new corps. I got the impression that there was a very fine line of what is acceptable and what isn't. Members are very limited in what they can and cannot do. A lot of the things that are required are just not mentioned, which is very risky. Even though we would participate we would be on the chopping block if something wasn't done right or certain objectives weren't met.
Indecisiveness is another problem. The leaders would say one thing and then do something else. Pretty much self explanitory.
These are the main reasons we're leaving.
Interesting. Why post publically before telling our leadership? Are you planning to wardec us and then hide too?

Oh they were well aware of the fact we were leaving before this post.
Hmm. 5n4keyes sounded surprised when I told him about your post.
I guess now would be a good time to point out that 2 HOBO spies we've exposed so far were in Sber's corp.....

You do the math and you decide.
What is the comparison of time spent uncloaked?

I should think if the day ever came that cloaked ships could fire, at least half of players would quit Eve.

Originally by: Amandrace glad i got the heck out of that alliance right as the war was starting. i was a miner, and an alliance that cant protect me is not making me any money.
sitting in a station for days on end doing jack **** while there are hostiles in system that can't be gotten rid of is not my idea of functional.
I've seen no difference in the number of people staying docked for long periods now than before IM came North.
Originally by: Fortiter Just form a gang and sit at the gate while they complain about TRI not killing the hostiles before they make it up to Destiny space.
Odd. I don't remember that EVER being a topic of discussion while I've been around.

Originally by: Darklin Eldaris Multiple killmails not posted, some killmails DELETED (such as freighters) by directors after having been posted by the pilots originally in order to preserve morale.
Killboards are synced regularly to account for those that don't post mails. If you can't wait for that to happen, pay 5n4keyes to update it more often.
WRT the freighter loss that was removed: It was at a time when a few faked mails had been posted, and IM/HOBO were, as admitted above, accessing our board. The loss was removed pending confirmation from the pilot involved. When it was confirmed, it was re-posted.

Originally by: fathitman This video is the first day of our attempt to get a quick ride to empire. Well we managed to bubble the gates and station in the home system. And camp there whole alliance (about 11 of us camped there whole alliance in there stations). They took 2 hours to get a gang going and by that time we took down the bubbles and DOCKED AT THERE STATION, to fight another day.
You forgot to mention: The majority of us didn't know you were leaving the alliance. Our station admins were offline (hence you were able to dock). The majority of "the whole alliance" were either offline or somewhere else.
Originally by: Devian 666 I gather from what you have written is that pilots are not to post their loss mails unless they have confirmation from an alliance leader.
No. It's that the pilot in question was relatively new to the alliance, and no one online at the time 5n4keyes saw it knew he had a freighter. As there had been faked mails posted before, the leadership wanted that one confirmed. Particularly as the only "verification" available was from a particular PODU member we wouldn't trust as far as we could throw him.
Originally by: Confessor When I lived up north, Destiny seemed to be really focused on the isk farm. I guess things dont change.
We got rid of the ISK farmers. When did you live up North?
