Is there a way to get Anti Aliasing to work in Eve to get rid of some of the jaggies?

advancedDevice=1
Paste that in your prefs.ini hidden in your documents and settings folder somewhere, and you will get new options under your graphics tab. It's called "Multisampling" and it works quite nice to be hones...
Also, in trinity the option will be available without doing stuff like this, then it's just a setting in the esc menu to show the settings or not _______

Under Win XP (need to search a bit for Vista location, same file tho') in C:\Documents and Settings\Windows_User_Name\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\settings file prefs.ini add in the very beginning (capitalisation matters) advancedDevice=1
Then, when logged in, under graphics, you get a new subheading "multisample". Not quite sure which of the three options I normally get there (some just get two, depends on video card I guess) is which, and what value means what exactly, but play around with it until you notice a difference for the better. I'd suggest making BMP screenshots and comparing.
NOTE: sometimes the changes don't "stick", make changes one submenu at a time only, let it apply, then change more. C|S|I|N|x. |

This has been sitting in the "Boost your fps" thread for a while:
Quote: Put in advancedDevice=1 (notice the lowercase a and upper case D) in your prefs.ini now some new settings have appeared in the graphics options in the ESC menu, change the "present interval" to intervel immediate - This one boosted my FPS alot! "Interval immediate" means "no vsync". "Interval one" means wait for vsync. "Interval default" is probably vsync on, depending on your display setup. For the full explanation see D3DPRESENT_PARAMETERS in the DXSDK. <-- Thank you to Mark A for the info about what it does.
Not 100% on the accuracy of it but it hasn't been removed yet.

in vista the file can't be searched for for some reason, but it's in the c:/users/[username]/local settings/ path etc thingy.

Set your drivers to over-ride the application setting. Problem solved. Eve is nice at 4xAA 8xAF ---------------------------------
