My name is Eric Porter born 23300 AD and I am the last remaining member of the Porter clan who moved to Eve in the year 8052 AD on the last colony ship from Tau Ceti, we just managed to get through the ÆwormholeÆ from an overpopulated corpUK as the wormhole collapsed. We settled on Intaki Prime for hundreds of years before the Gallenteans came. We were forced to help win their war against Caldari in 23121 AD as part of their galactic conquest to secure more worlds. This showed us the true meaning of Gallente form of liberalism, that is, the freedom to make slaves. The Gallenteans are still sucking up the profits made by our overworked Intaki brethren doing their bidding as it is the only way to survive in Eve. Only just recently, I was involved in a mission from a Gallentean agent where I actually felt sorry for an NPC ÆratÆ for they was doing what we should be doing, because of my compassion I sent out a repair drone to help him instead of a combat drone, realising my error I slew the ÆratÆ but not before the warning countdown marker came up - thinking this would be overlooked as I corrected my error I returned to the stn to finish my mission only to be Æblown awayÆ by a Concord Captain and stn guns, luckily I was beside the stn and avoided a ÆpodÆ kill as I know they would have killed me - this is the final straw turning a misdemeanour into a death sentence, are they trying to be nice or were they slowly eradicating our race from existence. Their answer to this outrage was that simply Ærepping a rat is not allowedÆ and to cover their outrage they have created a warning message to this effect just in case someone else other than another one of our Intaki brethren succumbed to this act of compassion. We are slowly growing and need all our Intaki brothers to join our ranks and help clean up our homeland space as it is filling with æfreebootersÆ and pirates making our sovereignty harder to obtain. We are starting up an elite squadron of Covert Operatives so we can help our beleaguered forces fight the pirates as there are aplenty. We have a large corridor to protect, our aim is to rid the pirates, protect the weak and upcoming pilots and protect what is our own by birthright, then maybe we will be allowed to police our own space. This may seem a daunting task but the cause is strong among what few we have at present but with you our brethren this can become a great enterprise with our own sovereignty in the making and a free homeworld.
We need mature able-bodied Special Forces pilots who are able to run missions lvl 2 easily if not we can help/advise. Pilots willing to take orders in ægangÆ controlled ops.
We have friendly people willing to help assist in skill selection to train into the Covert Ops category which is needed to take advantage of the upcoming Black Ops ship hierarchy.
We have started building our own structures (POS) which is a start at the first outpost to show the Gallenteans we mean business.
We have our own production workers, miners, technicians fighters, but we need to build/grow.
We have hangers and offices around so you see we are an enterprising corp dedicated to achieving our homeland status.
We of the Intaki homeworld are better than our oppressors so I need not say more, I trust you my brethren to come to our aid and help build a future for our race again. Website: www.freeintaki.tk
Contact for a acceptance in the corp can be sanctioned by: Saxon Hawke(CEO) Suresha, Eric Porter Isha-karna. (Covert Ops)
If any other than Special Forces wish to join us in our struggle please contact our Suresha Saxon Hawke on the channel below.

While I have difficulty comprehending the causal relationship between the rules-of-engagement mistakes made on your mission and your distaste for the Gallente treatment of the Intaki people, I would draw your attention to a far greater threat to our peoples' freedom. Even as we write there are Amarr on supposed "goodwill missions" into Gallente space intent on convincing the weak and unfortunate to accompany them back to Amarr space. The Empire is the true enemy of all free people everywhere. While far from perfect, the Federation at least attempts to see all people as equals.
In any case, I wish you much luck in your endeavors.

As a pod pilot I can no longer speak for those who live on the planets but during my time as a pilot I have not been treated different from non-Intaki. Except for a few instances I have found that the corrupt use everyone equally and the just help every on the same.
Before becoming a pilot, my family pilot side was very well off. I cannot believe this is an exception, those who work hard reap rewards in the Federation.

I too have not been treated any differently than non-Intaki the time I have spent as a pod pilot, but it is not hard to see the conditions are less than desirable in our home regions.
The Viriette constellation and much of the Placid region is virtually lawless space frequented by the most unsavory types of individuals and pirate oriented corporations. Trade convoys are regularly pillaged and drugs are still a big problem. Many corporations are afraid to do business there and the economy in our region is very much below the Federation's standards.
Some say "The Intaki asked for minimal involvement when they joined the Federation" which leaves us to deal with these issues. The one thing the Federation never considers is when that "minimal involvement" decree was issued it was long before pods were invented and space travel was available to such a main stream audience. I am sure if the Senate asked that question again to the governing bodies of Intaki worlds, the request would be very much different in this day and age.

I think you need to check the Gallente timeline if you do not know how Eve was created and how the first pilgrims came to the new Eden from Earth system.

Perhaps you should take Eric Porter's suggestion and review the historical section of Galnet. Most school children are familiar with the concept that the races of man were originally seed colonies of the ancient Terran Empire and were cut off after the EVE Gate closed.

Correction; most historians are clued up on the backgrounds of the known empires, but the majority of us have more important things to do than dwell on the last TWELVE THOUSAND YEARS of history recorded since that wormhole closed (believe me, the Sisters are even further from the truth than they realise).
Luckily, you've found a historian here: The Intaki are actually descended from mice... which is only one higher than the Amarrian rats.
Hope that helps

Hmmm... and here I had such high hopes for what at first read as an impassioned cry for.... what?
I see only turmoil here. Are you railing against the structure of the Federation, the Gallente race themselves, or the structures of interstellar law?
I can only advise that you take some time to meditate upon your message before committing it to the GalNet archives. A patient approach has always been the Intaki way - and through contemplation comes clarity. Take time to think about what you wish to say, and it will be understood by all.

Perhaps the Senate doesn't care to bring up such matters...Perhaps the governing bodies fear the repercussions of bringing up such a matter. As mentioned before last time things were brought up those that mentioned such words were charged with treason and exiled to the Syndicate or went off to join up with Mordu's Legion. I honestly cannot give an answer to such questions, as these events transpired before my current lifetime. Knowledge has been long since buried and I have yet to find anymore records regarding the matter...
As crazy as Eric Porter sounds, one can only wish him luck in his endeavors. As far as this "Earth" thing he mentions. I recall reading something of this in some ancient Amarrian texts once. I always thought of it as some arcane reference to their "heaven" though. I also saw some old Intaki text referring to this as the place of our origins, but the documents were so old it is hard to tell if they are fact or just fiction.

Aah, yes, now I remember. "Earth", in the ancient Amarrian texts, was the location of the mythical Garden of Eden, where all human life was created.
Of course, it would be silly to believe such a place really existed!

((Although you and I as well as everyone knows the back story (some better than others), don't presume that the people of EVE know it. In case you bothered to read the back story, it mentions that the colonies fell to barbarism and forgot every knowledge they had, before stepping up the ladder. Earth is just a myth for the people of EVE. Nothing more nothing less. Even the Gate is nothing more than a strange phenomenon that various organizations and scientists still study and don't know what it's for.))

I thank you for your compliment but as the Federation Navy are mostly made up of 'mercs' with higher technology - and with my love of my homeland slowely being decimated by those 'two-faced' Gallanteans conquest seekers, I say this only as they do it covertly so not to cause too much inquiry explained by my incident ealier. So I am trying to copy there 'modus operendi' so to speak and try and create a covert branch to help our cause, we are not mercs - we obtain only to survive as we all do - but when our cause is reached we will be a righteous force for protecting our own and friends/Alliances throughout our region.

To put your mind at rest - I used a sort of 'bug' in the software/CCP as an example in the gameplay to emphasis my point and to get other people interested other than recruitment as a form of role-playing. There was a change later implemented as a warning message in a later patch, so I used this to highlight a conspiracy to agin more support.

Postscript of the repping the rats incident. I was imprisoned by our overlords the gallanteans for a couple of weeks but I am back, following the time when I had a good Myrm tank and was mission running lvl 2, and accidently repaired a rat with a light armor repair drone mixed in with combat drones, my drone was destroyed at the time and the incident brought up the conflict timer, I returned to mission stn unawares that this applied to me only to be destroyed by a Gallentean Concord Captain. As it was, apparently no-one is allowed to 'rep the rats' this constituted extreme penalty of death, as it is not widely known I warrent it is discrimination against the Intaki race, another under-handed method to completely overwhelm us as they have previously done - no I say they are out to eliminate us from the eve universe. To cover their indiscression and remain humane they will now submit a warning before you actually proceed with this action warning of the consequences, I wonder how many have befallen this trap as I was the first to submit a petition instigating the warning message covering them - I wonder how many more are out there waiting to trap us (hacking bugs and all) so my fellow Intakies keep your wits about you and do not be complacent when clearing the 'rats' for our overseers., keep the faith our time will come.
