ItĘs nice that you want to improve the conditions of your people. But I encourage you to work within the system. Try to address these issues in the Senate or even the courts. If you try to push the Federation it will push back and you may wake up one day to an Intaki Prime in flames.

Although the space above Intaki is a free-for-all zone, I can assure you that planetside the Intaki worlds are in much healthier condition than most places I visited. We surely do not have the riff-raff of Gallentean cities, Holders and slavery, corrupt corporations and planetside warfare often seen in other areas of the New Eden.
Every once in a while I talk to my family back home on Intaki, and the planet is still in pristine condition and has been voted one of the healthiest places to live in the known universe. Not to mention that the presence of Gallente Federation officials is almost non-existent and we are left to our own paths of life.
I still enjoy coming home to go mountainbiking on Akat, see it's wonderful forests, and visit the Goatsnake Swamps and our myriad arcologies built in harmony with nature. Intaki is a wonderful place to live. --- Beneath all of our differences there's a single bond between every living Gallentean that makes us hard as diamond: a love of freedom. |

Originally by: Rodj Blake The poor treatment of the Intaki shows everyone just how hollow the words of the Gallente really are.
You've got it all wrong. All citizens of Placid are ignored equally by the government, regardless of race! Well, okay...maybe not so much the really rich ones. Then again...I'm rich, and the government still barely gives me the time of day. In fact, check this out.
I mean really. Come on. At least the fruit basket they sent with it was nice. -----

I agree that it is better to work within the system but . . . even with good standing with the Federal Navy and Federal Intelligence, occurances still happen where I am diverted during missions and containers stolen and told by the agent that the slavers are being dealt with by higher authority, no mention of the theft. I was mining like on the doorsteps of an illegal slave complex as in the mission 'Human Traffic' - getting approx' 1.5 million in ore only to have it stolen from me - this makes one think that the Gallanteans are really involved with the Caldari slavers, more than what we are meant to think, so what else is going on especially on our idyllic Intaki homeworld. I still request more brothers to join our cause.

Please read the footnote I have placed below . . . 'I agree that it is better to work within the system but . . .'

I also agree with what you say and my Suresha (CEO) is dealing with the Senate and courts in this respect but alone, so I must honour my leaders but try and help in my own way by boosting our 'standing' and 'getting in their good books' even with 'dirty tricks' being played against me - if you agree with us please join our cause - 'the more the merrier' so to speak so we all can enjoy the struggle and not make it 'sordid' like the Galanteans actions and what they want us to be 'degenerate' and NOT FREE.

Oh, how adorable! I just love it when the downtrodden Intaki rise up against their oppressive Federation masters in the name of freedom. It brings back memories of the days when I was on the set of Defiance, a dramatic adventure of shy Intaki Kano Blane during the Caldari Seccessionist period. Unlike the actor who played Kano, I was able to distinguish the difference from fantasy and reality. Take a look around Luminaire sometime and you'll see how terrible the Intaki really have it. Why, give the President a call sometime as well!
Irregardless, I wish you luck in ridding Placid of unsavory individuals. Having been born near there, I can appreciate anyone taking an interest in its well-being, even if it is misguided.
