Although i understand your arguments i highly doubt there will be anything like a boost to vaga anytime soon. Look at all those killboards. The vaga wouldn't be one of the most used ships on almost every killboard if it really needed a fix. If at all i predict a nerf is more likely to come. Don't understand me wrong, i'm not asking for it. It's just plain obvious, because the vaga is by far more cost efficient than most other ships (including all this very expensive stuff you need to get it usefull at all). You just dont lose this ship if you're not an idiot.
I know there are counters to it, but they are kind of unemployed in belts because no vaga pilot would engage a group with Huginn there. At a gate there is almost no way to kill a vaga. By the time you have locked and webbed it it is fast enough to reach the gate and jump out. The only way to get it would be to bump it before it's in jumping range. But seriously, you have to be very lucky to do that. There are a few other ways to kill vagas, but those are not exactly counters to a nano-fit but rather relying on victim having limited hitpoints, if you kow what i mean. ;)

Exactly. If you realize you're about to suffer you run no matter if you engaged the opponent or if he engaged you. I agree it's the Minmatar role and as such i think it should not be taken away from the Vaga.
Yet your target is in a very different position. If he choses to call on your engagement or engages you on his own he cannot run anymore. He either has to force you to run away or he has to die. In my opinion there is absolutely no need to give the Vaga a 20% (or whatever) boost to get even more kills like that. Do you concur with that?
