First of all I would like to say I love jeveassets. I used to use eve asset manager until it didn't get updated anymore. Very happy to see that someone else carried it on in a way. :)
Second, There is a feature that I would love to see in jeveassets, or if it is there already I can't seem to find it. But in Eve Assets Manager you could have it compile an asset list in htm form, with different sorting options. >You could have it do a material list + values >items by location +values
That sort of thing, I really would love to see that happen if I'm making any sense. :P
Anyways, the reason I'm posting.. I'm having a bit of an issue and I'm not sure why. Everyone else seems to be able to run jeveassets completely fine, however when I try and start it up a block box comes up and immediately vanishes.
It says, "Error: Could not find or load main class j:\jEveAssets\jeveassets.jar"
The files and folders are all there, I've made sure that java is up to date as well.
I've deleted the entire contents of the jEveAssets folder, redownloaded the latest version and tried running it again. However I still get the same issue.
Other java programs work fine, so I'm a bit baffled as to what the issue is.
Any suggestions? |

I do like the premade stuff, like what Eve Assets Manager had. Would it be possible to have an option for that? Along with a breakdown of where items are/ what categories they are? Along with total value in each section. :3 |

A quick Google on the error shows that is some kind of Java Web Start problem, but jEveAssets does not use web start... still can't get it to work, also there is no "jeveassets.log" file Does this work on Windows 7?
Does it pop up a black command box for a half second, and closes?
If so, that is what it did for me. What I did was use a slightly older version of java, and that seemed to make it work for me. Maybe give that a shot?

Alright, I love the tree asset export. I have a suggestion for it though, For each category section maybe have the column names repeat. And at the bottom of each category section have a total for appropriate columns(value, volume, etc.). And then at the very bottom a quick summery/total of each category.
example
Summery Category---------Volume----------------ISK Minerals--------400,000m3 -----500,000,000 ISK Modules--------------493m3------------452,349 ISK
----------------------Volume----------------ISK Total-------------400,493m3-------500,452,349
Would be really cool imo.
Tree tool is awesome. :D Its my new favorite feature of jeveassets.
*edit* silly forums didn't save my spacing. >< |

Ahhhh I see what it was, I had all the columns turned on, so I didn't see the totals for each group. :P I should of paid a bit more attention to that, my fault.
I think it would be good to repeat the column names though for each group if you're like me and have a rather large amount of assets causing a very very long list. ^^
Great to hear for summery, I'm a bit weird and like to see things like that. ><
