Seth Allasatre Gallente	Posted - 2007.11.22 18:06:00 - [31] I also waited on the "entering game as.." screen for a long time but just let it go - after about 10 minutes, I was finally in space. Now I can login without much difficulty. However, as noted by others, alt-tabbing or alt-enter to switch from fullscreen to windowed mode will crash the client. In fact, just changing some gfx settings in the main menu can crash it. There also doesn't seem to be a way to enable anti-aliasing. Space is pretty ugly with all those jaggies.

I'm running two release clients and a test client right now, and it works just fine. There are a few little things wrong in the test client (background stars pop in and out rather than pulse slowly, and engine exhaust is missing), but overall it runs great. Ciao, Aronis!

Kalithor Red Horizon Inc Red Horizon	Posted - 2007.11.22 18:18:00 - [34] Well when I originally installed trinity and logged onto sisi, I was able to get in and everything went fine, although VERY VERY slow. Then I used alt-tab to get back to windows and noticed the eve client crashed. I did this about 3 more times and it crashed each time. I now can't get in at all and am sitting at the "entering game as" screen which other people here seem to be as well.

Navick	Posted - 2007.11.22 19:00:00 - [40] I hate to jump on the "This Sucks" bandwagon, but... the condition of the test server is really pathetic right now, lol. I've played Alphas and Stress Tests that were more playable than SiSi is right now. I sat in the Move Me channel for close to an hour, waiting motionless in space, only to get kicked from the channel at random and was unable to rejoin due to server lag/lockup. I think I'll be sticking to TQ for a day or two until the "OMG NEW ENGINE MUST SEE!" craze has died down.

I have a Radeon 9550 which is pretty antiquated I'm basing my non support knowledge on the fact that its old and I ran that shader 3 detection utility in one of the recent dev blogs and it said it didn't

If i run 2 clients on full screen and i want to switch between they freeze and need to kill process. Thats under Vista. IS CRAP, i hope u dont deploy this. better rework and take some time.

So many negatives. Quite on the other hand, there's nothing special at all about my laptop (dual-core 1.8ghz, x1400 Mobility), and while running dual test clients I experience peak in-space fps of 80. That's over 200% increase in performance on my end AFTER a jump from 16 - 24bit color depth. In other words: Tranquility client: 16bit depth, 1024 x 768 x two clients, FPS = 10-30 Singularity client: 24bit depth, 1024 x 768 x two clients, FPS = 60-80 Now, there are a few crashes I'm experiencing that I can't seem to reproduce w/ any certainty. Otherwise, the new client is mega sexy. Does the current Sisi client include the optimizations for multi-core systems? I read it will be supported in the winter release.
