Yea, survival is a matter of looking cool...hahaha
Can't wait for photorealist graphics...if it's not already there, or could be argued it's been there for the past 10 years, until players need for ****ographic imagery increased.

I think what is happening is that the all the regular flame topics now get shot down in the first page or so and noone bother to post in them anymore so they need a new one to keep thier emotainment level up..

Hey its true :P if EVE continues to look like it does now, its going to seem amazingly ugly in another year and no one would really bother to even check it out.
Ugly? GTFO! Hell, I still regard Super Mario Bros beautiful.
Well switching the engine from CPU to GPU for lag reasons seems fair enough.
But I still wonder if making larger or more efficient, "coping" highways ever solved anything, less lag surely means more capacity, more capacity = more people and more people = MORE LAG! Am I missing something?

...and when it gets to a point where you cant make the difference with reality, what then?
Would you need a microscope to figure out the microscopic differences with reality?
