My apologies but I cannot find this information using search.
Does anyone know what the Trinity max torp range would be with Missile Bombardment and Missile Projection at *level 4*?
I believe these are the only two skills affecting range.
Any help appreciated.

Well, max appears to be around around 30k; not sure if that is with rigs or not.
Assuming this, it would be roughly 10% less with skills at level 4 instead of 5, so around 27k but that is an educated guess only.
Figured I would post since more than 35 people have stared at this thread and had no additional information :)

From another thread on this forum (entitled Torpedo Change - Got Numbers?):
Flight Time: 6 seconds Velocity: 1500m/s
Therefore the base range is 9km. With Bombardment [4] the flight time increases to 8.4 seconds and the range to 12.6km With Projection [4] the velocity increases to 2100m/s, combining the two gives a range of 17.64km
As you haven't listed a ship skill I'm assuming that you're not after the range on a Raven and therefore no further skills apply.
The 30km assessment was with Caldari BS [5], Bombardment & Projection [5] and with (IIRC) 2 T2 and 1 T1 Hydraulic Bay Thrusters and appropriate implants. --

It goes 30k with just Caldari BS to 5 and the two support skills to 5. Sig removed, lacks Eve-related content. If you would like further details please mail [email protected] - Cortes |

Max effective range against slow targets will be around 60 .. 65 km with javelins, max skills, raven and rigs. Theoretical will be a bit over 70 km but torp 'effective' range is around 90% of it's theoretical range (meaning they hit, but don't do any damage after roughly that distance, or expire slightly before they reach target)
Not answer to your question ofc, but might still be useful if you are planning to go for torps long term.

I did a little more maths last night and realised that the rigs and implants had to push it over 30km with those numbers... Without a Raven the support skills push the velocity to 2250m/s and the flight time to 9 seconds, giving a range of 20.25km total. The Raven's velocity bonus should push that to 30.375km (and even if it applies additively rather than multiplicatively boosts it to 27km). Add 5% flight time and velocity implants and with a velocity of 3543.75m/s and a flight time of 9.45 seconds the range jumps to a little under 33.5km. With rigs as well you're looking at close to 50km (IIRC) though the CPU cost increase would gimp the set-up somewhat.
Edit: The reduction in range experienced incidentally is only applicable to moving targets, its simply due to the fact that you measure range to the target along a straight line while missiles describe an arc to intercept the target. The missiles therefore have to travel further to get to the same point. --

Pretty sure those implants take up the same slot.

Yes. Both are slot 7 so you can only use one at a time.
