Arghhh, the ringing echo left in the voice comms from the Guristas commander in his Armageddon was something to behold, an entire expedition out to Placid with nothing to show for it but the destruction of a single stabber, with the salvage not even worth a mention. But now, there was a Drake Class Battlecruiser alone and isolated, and if it wasn't for him busy checking the Rabbits Communication Network he might have had locked in time. Two pilots that went out with him had the stamina to make it to that desolate hour, well, one was just leaving his Ishkur for a night of relaxation at a certain pleasure hub he had heard of, and the other was on the other side of the system, returning from scouting duty in his trophy Crow. His angst clenched eyes suddenly widened, Leon, Planet VIII at 100 NOW, GO. The pilot had warped off, directly to a planet, the Armageddon's engines roared to life, and in a few seconds he was off, hoping for something that would redeem taking these pilots out more then twenty jumps from home. Drake at 0 .... POINT! The commander hesitated for a moment, I'm going to try to ram him, these Caldari wimps love their stabilizers. The destructive gleam of the Armageddon's Pulse Lasers began tearing a void through the shields, within thirty seconds it would all be over. The computer registered a friendly warp in, well aren't you fashionably late, go pick up that loot, I'm full on charges. The last few seconds of tranquility that night would have passed, the Ishkur pilot was back on the comms, his voice barely holding, Dread Guristas Heavy Missile Launchers, five, HOLY ****, Kaikka's, Pith, Vepas's, he's-.
The Guristas commander snickered, I'll believe it when I see it.
