Myself and a friend have begun the experience of EVE.
He does manufacturing, I am doing hauling.
Obviously we can become far less specialized as time goes on, but keeping focused, in what ways could we begin to generate revenue for our small, two person, corp? We're business orientated, willing to take high risks for high reward (already have thought about the blockade running transport ships to take through 0.0 to get to hard to reach stations), and looking for a niche to fill.
Thoughts on immediate business ops?
We're only a few days old. Have a few million.

You could do some courier contracts, and your friend could produce some ammo for you to haul to the market hubs while you're at it :)

if you mean like specializing to complement each other, the hauler can train to use transport ships and ultimately a freighter, and can also train up trading skills (save on fees, place buy and sell orders for the corp)
the manufacturer can train polish his production and BPO research skills, as well as skills needed to build tech II items and some more exotic things like Cosmos stuff and tech II rigs (often people lack skills to build from these BPCs they get and will sell them on contracts)

Remember of course on the idea on running supplied to hard to reach Outposts and stations..
You probably wont be allowed in.
Player owed and operated outposts and stations ( basically, anything with a name like "big bob's Bar and Refinery") will be operating with restricted access to keep enemies out.
Enemies in this case being you, your friend, anyone they dont know. You will Not be able to dock, you Will feel silly, and Will likely end up destroyed.
Same situation for contracted items being sold in stations like that (you will have a hard time actually picking them up) and Courier contracts being run to or from such stations, because you wont be allowed inside even then and will lose your deposit.

Keep in mind though that there are plenty of 0.0 regions that everyone can dock in. Like Syndicate, Curse, Venal and so on. I myself made a pretty penny on Infomorph psychology when it first came out. They sold in 0.0 areas for 3 mil each easy.
