Today a force made up of two good, well known corps decided to invade the Fade region. They came into C4C...which is our HQ and quickly warped out hoping to get within better attack range. No battle took place because of the force we rallied after the attack became apparent. I know this seems like smack talk. I want to show that RSA will not be messed with. These corps honestly had us scared until we could reinforce with other memebers of RSA and our allies. Here are a few SN of the force we rallied. I am hoping by this that corps will realize that we are new but powerful. Please do not come into the Fade region...it is closed. We will do everything to protect it. The enemy fleet jumping in RSA Fleet making the brightest red dot on the map RSA chasing the invading force out of the region.

two "good, well known corps"? What the hell does that mean? If you want anyone to care, which it's obvious that you do, fork over some names Mr. *******.

Edited by: DB Preacher on 06/03/2004 12:30:48 I'll post names because I'm proud to say I was one of them.
The invading forces were a small group of celestial apoc, a small group of dsin, a small group of rkk and the glorious Mankind II of millenium.
The total ship count was 20 ships, mainly BS.
After trekking up to fade coz we were bored and most of us being scots... drunk. We finally reach c4 and get a pilot into the system to check numbers.
There were 23 RSA in local with around 19 of them at the gate with around 30 drones deployed. We decided this was a force we could take out.
We jumped in.
As we uncloaked we began jamming but due to the range some of our forces landed over 100km out from the force. Lion El'Johnson (our resident suicidal bb pilot) landed within warp scrambler range of the RSA. His ship was quickly dispatched but he got his pod away. Due to our varying range we decided to warp out and warp back in.
Then we received further intel from our scouts that a force of FE was moving up. We checked the map - 17 blips moving up behind us in an effort to trap us in (we simply don't know whether ALL those 17 blips were FE but we had to use worst case scenario, especially with the glorious hamster smuggler havocide at the head of it).
Our choice was simple, we looked to see where the RSA fleet had gone... ALL had docked awaiting the FE force to come save them. With a potential of 17 BS coming up behind we made the choice to move back and engage the FE.
As soon as we moved to engage the FE, RSA undocked and came after us again hoping to trap us between their forces. We headed to p33-kr at top speed (which for the Donkey Brigade - our heavy hitter BS - was 13km/s). We arrive there as ships are amassing either side.
Quick decision is made to headup into Deklain and come down the long way behind them to see if we can engage again. After making it to 2r-crw, we check out the time - 3:30am. Instead of attacking again we log and go sleep.
Overall, I don't think there was a decision we could have changed that would have allowed us any advantage. Once the FE are being pulled back to Curse, the RSA will have no allies up here to come and assist. They will be alone.
We appreciate the lack of smak in local, however do not appreciate the evemails after the battle from various RSA members, cursing and swearing.
Props to havocide's force though, was a long way for you guys to come to see us.
Till next time sportsfans. dbp

hello and good afternoon.
DB preacher my friend, very well put.
DB lead the force last night, and done a darn great job, (id follow her into hell if she said id have a laugh), 3 CELES BS came along for the ride to have a little looksee into fade.
when i heared that GREAT corps like Spang/Tundragons formed this alliance, i was rather impressed, thinking these guys would b great fun to fight, and in the future maybe CELES would come up.
Can i just say, what the hell are u guys doing with these little kiddies?, iv heard alot of smack in my time, but OMG, the mail the guys recieved HAD to be sent to the GMs to be dealt with, the local smack was terrible, even though great leaders like Xpohoc tried to put a stop to it.
All this directed to people who dont even communicate in local, and spend the time to get ppl together to visit u, u guys could argue with yourselfs sometimes.
You guys have won BTW, your alliance has defeated CELES by not even firing a shot, ill not ask the guys to come back up if thats how u take it.
Even havocides convo was one of "always running darth" ..
Guys our leaders make our tactics not you..
At the end of the day, when we entered the system in name, we were prepared to fight, as havocide confimed, F-E were on there way .. why?.
Havnt we proven to u guys that we will fight fair odds, why the need to double your numbers??.
If u want to fight, think about it first before u scream for help.
im very dissapointed.

No RSA forces docked. As far as I know, they were looking for you, not being sure of your location until you started jumping out of the system.
Not trying to talk smack (I hope you received no smack from Spang representatives) What was the point, really? You came up all the way there and you didn't fire a shot. What you did was drop a container stating that Fade is now "open". What if a peaceful miner comes flying up, seeing that container, but then one jump further in is instantly ganked because Fade isn't open at all? Now isn't that griefing if anything?
Your 425mm Prototype I Gauss Gun perfectly strikes some nublar, wrecking for 1155.0 damage. |

We jumped in, you were setup in position so we warped away to an alt, regrouped, and went back to the gate.. no one there.
Saw FE on way and thought, oh look lets either sit at this gate and get trapped by the forces in C4C warping to the gate and either jump back through and get engaged by the FE force heading up or the FE force jump in on us as we're engaging the RSA force or jump out before the FE have a chance to form up the trap.
Hmmmm, choices choices choices..
Thanks to all the kind evemails and attempted convos too by the way folks from the RSA, much appreciated never knew I was so popular, you should learn smacktalk level 5 though before you send anymore, they were kinda lame.

Some things went wrong yesterday. Not sure if you know it but atm you were heading towards us (ROIR) we were just about to fight the Arcadia fleet. Nobody really knew what was coming on your side and first scouts gave us numbers higher than ours. Atm we saw that we had almost even fleets, it was already too late because F-E ships were next door.

Edited by: Jexter on 06/03/2004 15:54:23 I have been wondering when would Celestial, Reikoku, Deathstar and the other corps start a Fade campaign.
Sure enough, the alliance currently claiming Fade did all that was in their power to make sure that everybody in the universe knew about them and their very peculiar nature. I guess that it was actually their intention to become a target for every "good" aligned corp flying around.
Good luck to both parties involved.

To respond to DB prech. We did not dock at station. We flew to a safe point knowing that your forces were trying to warp back in on top of us. It was a very good move by you guys. After warping away from the gate we saw that our FE friends were getting close to form the trap. Also I am very sorry if there was smack talk in local. For those of you that recieved mails from our pilots plz mail me with the original message. I do not like smack talk. It would have been a very good battle.

My apologies,
We sent lion in his pod to go look at the station, meanwhile we were trying to track you in the system after we returned to the gate.
We knew you had moved your force because you all actually warped past us heading towards what looked like the station (that was a slight bit unnerving as we thought you had found us and we were about to engage when we realised you were just warping straight past).
Lion arrived at the station to see a caracel undock and lock him.
Since we hadn't discovered you in the system at this point, had seen your force warp past us heading towards what looked like the station, had seen a caracel undock and lock lion and we were under pressure to move before the FE arrived, I presumed you had all docked awaiting their arrival.
My mistake, I should know better than posting without 100% proof. The rest of my post is 100% factually correct however, as I am sure you can attest to. dbp

That was the biggest anti-climax EVER , was flying round for like 4hours to get there, then getting away again. And did that RSA Thorax die or did it get away? I think it got away, but I wasnt sure I was too busy trying to get to a safe spot .
Oh and to anyone saying we ran and logged... your joking right? It was 3:30am, you want us to die of sleep deprivation??
I would have stayed a fought if everyone else would, but then again im stoopid .

Its ok, I was just pointing out that you guys did a very good tactical move. Thats why we decided to fly to a safe spot and wait to regroup and reinforce.
