Willy Joe	Posted - 2007.11.26 05:51:00 - [2] I doubt that small armor repairer is going to save you any time soon, try fitting an energized adaptive nano membrane instead of it , or a plate. It is a gank battlecruiser in the end , isn't it ?
LivingDream	Posted - 2007.11.26 06:06:00 - [3] fitting it (lost the small armor repairer like you said and threw in a 400mm) and i found the microwarpdrive doesnt fit so ill be using a 10mn afterburner :( im gonna grab a 20km warp jammer so i can stop them from warping sooner

Liang What she said, Brutix needs an MWD, not to mention it's practically build for gank fittings :)

Ion Rep Brutix 8x Anode Ion Blaster 10mn MWD, Web, Warp Disruptor, Med EC Cap Booster MAR II, DC II, 2x EANM II, MFS II 2x Aux Nano, 1x Nanobot Implants: 3% PG The trick to Brutix combat (in my experience) though is to get in, melt face, and GTFO. That setup won't need a cap booster or armor rep. Use 5 EC-600 drones and hope they jam . It will do ~620 dps with guns, or ~760 with hammerhead IIs. I fly a similar setup thorax, and it performs very well for the low price. I use to fly AF for cheap ganks, but i found the gankrax is faster than my assault frig, does much more dps and with minimal tank setup, it out-tanks my AF too. Brutix is just a bigger thorax.

Hammerheads/Valks or ECM drones, depending on your flight style.
