Dear CCP,
My name is Dominix and I was once a proud Gallente battleship. Proud to undock. Proud to launch my drones. Proud to fly the flag!
A few painful months ago I was dominant. I could stand toe to toe with any battleship. I laughed at the DPS of the Typhoon and out tanked the Armageddon. I held power with my nos and drones! Even my upper Tier Megathron and Hyperion brothers had respect for me. They knew I did the family proud. And then that terrible, terrible day landed. The nos nerf hit. I understand it CCP! I am not mad at you. You are my creator, my mother, my father, and hold all power. I understand that the power that nos had in my hands was out of balance. I understand that my Tier 1 brothers from other factions held resentment and jealousy in their hearts. I understand it needed balance and I forgive you!
I am not here before you today to cry for my loss. My fall from dominance. My decent from the Tier 1 BS throne. I fear that my end, my disgrace is approaching CCP! You have cast me into the pit and turned your back! But do not walk away, hear my cries CCP! Look! Look at me.

I cannot face you, but please look at me! Did I not pay a high enough price for my years of dominance? Have I not suffered enough with the nos nerf?
Why do you disgrace me! When all around me get beautiful skins, i get this. I get shame and laughter. I get pink and teal. Pink and teal! Do not abandon me CCP. Do not walk away and leave me in this pit, alone and outcast!
Please, I beg you CCP. Allow me to once again walk with my head held high. Proud among my brothers. Reskin me before my disgrace arrives. Do not leave me in Trinity in my current state!

Heh. I think the new skin is good.... it's merely that the lighting from the red nebula is giving it a "pink" hue. For example, if it were in a dark, black, or blue system, then it would seem more like chrome or silver. Example: Other Dominix

It looks more like the ship is made entirely out of copper and the green bits are where it's become oxidized. Very cool IMO.

Worry not! Whilst you may be suffering from an identity crisis, there are many out there who consider you a friend and companion; who will stick with you through thick and thin, regardless of how you believe you look.
For the longest time you were underrated, and I remember your cries from those early days; "The other battleships laugh at me, whatever am I to do?" and the oft repeated "I look like a whale!" But then you embraced the times, and became one with the speed and the nosferatu.
Alas, that time has passed, and your cohorts in the battleship legions have to reassess your position. Your beauty has been increased with a short time spent in rehab, and now, having kicked your addiction to nosferatu's, you can once again claim a place amongst the space lanes.
I, for one, will always consider you formidable, and look upon you with wary eyes. Your beauty and grace may not be the equal of all others, but your strength, fortitude and low-low price tag draws pilots to your vast bosom anew, each day.

The Nos Nerf had very minimal effect on a nos-domi.

It would look better sharing the deep green of the Vexor/Ishtar instead of the teal. However, I think this is a major step forward from the previous brown skin. At least it can't be called a floating space turd anymore!

There's two things that need to be taken onboard when looking at Trinity screenshots:
1) Shiny bits generally now reflect the ambient light. If you're in a pink system, your ship may look pink. If you're in a system with a nice blue star, bits of your ship will look a nice cool blue to reflect that. It's kinda like the nose of the old Purifier, only more better like.
2) You really, really need to see this thing in motion - screenshots don't do the beauty of the engine justice. It's not until you've seen a ship execute a slow turn and watched the shadows dance across the surface that you'll really appreciate what's been achieved.
In other words, worry ye not.

Yep. The new art has really gone with the "racial aesthetic theme" idea. Pretty much all t1 Gallente ships are now silver & baby blue; all Caldari ships are unadorned brushed steel; so on so forth. No more "Exequror is green, Thorax is black & silver, Dominix is brown"-type stuff. Everything is cut from the same cloth!
The Hyperion looks kinda silly in the new colours, truth be told. But nowhere near as bad as the Domi!

Havent bothered looking at too many screenshots, but as far as I can tell they don't do the graphics any real justice...
I spent 1,5 hour sitting outside the station in FD-MLJ just looking at the ships docking and undocking 
It's sex.
Now give us that damn release date!
