PLEASE CHANGE. No pastels, no baby blue, no pink. Pick a real color, you have millions to choose from. This is pretty much what gallente ships should look like, taken from CCP's own Trinity trailer. I realize that it could somehow still be the nightmarish toothpaste blue and that the reflection from a dark system is influencing the image, but still....that's really what everyone is more or less used to, is expecting, and what looks good. Doesn't have to be exactly like that, but what is currently being delivered is WAY off. In fact, I would say that a lot of the colors are pretty nightmarish (manticore, CNR, etc) but the gallente ones are just WTF.

I know. I mentioned that in my original post. Thanks for reading and such a useful contribution to the issue at hand. The point remains the same, that's what most people are expecting gallente ships to look like regardless.

It's pretty simple. People expect Gallente ships to look a certain way, and have always complained about how crappy the domi in particular looks. IMO, there's two main colors that gall ships have...a deep green (celestis) and a pewter silver (megathron). I don't care about shiny surfaces making the ship look like absolute crap, that's a whole other issue. But frankly, this is what people expect gallente ships to look like taken from CCP's own Trinity trailer. Again, I don't care about the argument that it's a dark system influencing that particular image, people still expect the dark demon green that has ultimately always represented gallente. Now I'm all for change (believe me, I think that 90% of the ship designs in eve are the most ******** things I've ever seen, but that's another story), but at least make a change that makes sense. The new colors of washed out silver and pastel blue are CLEARLY hated more than they are even liked, let alone loved. Nerfing gallente ships to crap is one thing, but now having their design done by a color blind ****** is just rubbing salt in the wound on your playerbase at this point. I can't believe CCP sat there for *four years* and never once said 'you know, maybe this isn't the best choice'. Fifty man years to do? I don't think so. =P

Did a raven on megathron test fight on sisi today and it's the biggest argument yet to change the gallente colors....they look like they're on the same team!
FTR, I lost to the mega, but it was literally by a smidgen. Both in hull, another half a second and the finishing volley of torps would have killed him too. 'Twas a good fight with an honorable pilot. Thanks Harcole! =)
