I would like to learn eve combat mechanics, but I would like to use relevant tools and there have been many changes recently. Is there a good turret calculator somewhere that I can use, or other tools to generally evaluate how ships might perform?
PLEASE HELP MAKE ME THE BEST EFT WARRIOR EVER! I WILL ACHIEVE EFT VICTORY AT ANY COST!

Seems like EFT comes with a "turret calculator" built in...

Good idea, ty.
Anyone know how to change the scale on the dps graphs in eft? I have a dps chart now that is for blaster boats where the graph extends to 60km! I'd like to cut that down significantly so I can see more detail on the graph. |

resize/extend graph window as a normal "Windows" window :) also if only interested in turret dps you cand remove drones from the ship so they dont appear to do dmg at 50-60 km |

Good point re: drone ranges.
Any idea how much range you have on the system scanner and how far from celesials sites are? Figured I would avoid making another thread. When I asked this question a few times in the last few days, I get a lot of responses that relate to the dscanner, which is disappointing. :/ |

The max range for D-Scan is 13AU and change (I don't have the exact number, but you can figure it out yourself if you look at it in-game and divide that by the number of KM in 1 AU, which is readily available on Wiki). |

The system scanner scans the whole system. That will reveal all cosmic anomalies available. If you're looking for the other sites, you need to use probes. |

IIRC, all cosmic anomalies and signatures spawn within a 4AU radius of a celestial object.
As stated previously, you can use the on-board scanner to find all anomalies in one shot, but will need probes to find the signatures in a system. |

I vaguely recall the system scanner having a range of like 60au but not sure. :( |

Also, EVEHQ has a fitting tool with DPS graphing abilities. Most people prefer EFT for some reason(eft is more accurate, easier to use, blah blah, none of this is necessarily true btw)but, I find it the better of the two, and it has a bunch of other stuff that goes along with it. Asset manager, character manager, pos manager ect. |
