Anyone that can make the USA respectable again to the rest of the world deserves me to take a look into them.
I think he want's to remove parts of the federal government and give it back to state level or something like that.

From what I have gained from reading about Canadians views on a merger with the USA, they are more likely to join the EU than the USA at this point.

Yes, a American Country joining a European union, makes total sense...But its Canada, so maybe it does make sense to them....
In all honesty, Canada until after WW2 was part of a European Empire, and this is in living memory. French Guinea is in South America but is still part of the EU, I would be surprised if in the situation where Canada planned it was rejected out of hand, like Australia they are similar to Britian in language people and politics.

Canada is not the USA so dosen't have the same business practices, Canada is in the far North and as far as I know areas of it are wasteland. Where they club baby seals that may be one of the only way's to make a living or it could be a culling to let the fish stocks replenish. I have watched a few documentaries over the years, come of them are killed by the native Inuit population because that is a needed natural resource.

Erm, did you see me saying save the baby seals there?
I was more concerned with the economic impacts there than on cuteness of a marine mammal, how the hell does that make me a hippy, or have they changed their priorities without me noticing
