The term "Jovian" in Earth history refers to the worshippers of the Roman god Jupiter.
The letter "u" was added much later to the Roman alphabet, so they would spell the god's name JVPITER.
I would take credit for the idea, but it's my dad who came up with it.

Not at all. He is of a different generation, with different pleasures and hobbies. He and I are very close, and I'm able to share things with him that he gives his best to understand and empathize with. He is the only person in my real life who will listen -- actually listen -- to my EVE stories.

Good eyesight. Yes, of course. The best.
We sent a Jove infant to Earth a while back in a capsule with a modified low energy signature Jump Drive, and some may know that when he grew up he had Xray vision, amongst other abilities. Now, this was not the sort of spooky Xray vision that lets someone oogle your skeleton. I'm not sure what sort of use that would be.

Greetings Derrick, Katsu, and others.
On a general note, I'm in a strange mood due to some new developments at work so I took a break and experimented with Joe in the Character Customization a little bit. Yes, I call him Joe.
Since Kaaeliaa appears to do this sort of thing all the time, I thought, why not me?
I was thinking of making more drastic changes, so I asked my EVE BFF what I should do, and she told me that Joe was perfect and I shouldn't worry.
I made some minor, reversible changes instead. Joe has grown out some hair on his head and on his face and donned a nice green jacket. Since the jacket is the same color as mistletoe, I believe it's not inappropriate to expect a kiss if Joe happens to talk to a girl.
What do you think?

Thanks. My original intent with this jacket was to give it as a present to another EVE BFF of mine, so I feel rather guilty that Joe is wearing it. I may put some generic clothes back on him, I am not sure.
I see a Bianca Silver in my Like notifications. It reminds me of the woman, a cop, who taught me how to shoot. We used her Glock at a range, several times since I was a slow learner. One of her middle names was Silver, from the Creek side of her ancestry.

But the Earth's displacement would not be exactly zero because of the sun's, and thus the Earth's nonzero displacement towards the supermassive black hole at the center of our galaxy.

You demand an end to World peace forever? That part seems to be working out ok.
It could be said I made the statement knowing I'd flush out a grammar **** or two. Op success.
On a more serious note, I understand that resources are always tight, and the Star Trek like utopia is totally impossible. But I will be honest with you. If there was some magical way to address these problems and if it meant I have to relinquish the excesses of comfort and amenities in my own life I would gladly do so.
But one could argue that if I were truly serious about this, I would dedicate myself to charity and volunteer work. Perhaps I am an armchair philosopher and not a doer.

In the end, it's not possible for everyone to be an activist on every issue, since every other part of society also has to function too. That doesn't make you 'not a doer' though, because in our own way, doing what we each individually do helps enable those that are able to dedicate themselves to charity and volunteer work. Your just as much a doer as anyone else, just in a different way; and it's all connected.

Makes for a far more productive discussion when things turn serious. But don't worry, we always turn back to silliness quickly.

Genetically enhanced Jovian glomp.
Behold.
I am honored that Ms. Kaaeliaa yet remembers my brief interlude in this place.
I must confess, after seeing Kaaeliaa's portrait flip around like channels on the telly, I was inspired to make a Khanid as lovely as she. Thus, I fired up the second slot on my account, and 30 grueling minutes later, I was utterly unsuccessful. She was not close in any way to Kaaeliaa, and an unfortunate victim of the cancel button prior to the naming stage.
Good riddance, I say. There can be only one Kaaeliaa.

The trick is to ensure that any networking implants are not installed too close to your prefrontal cortex. The crosstalk from the ambient electrical activity alone can kibosh your bandwidth.

All words are part of a continuum. They are spun into threads like stardust spools into gravity wells and forms asteroids and planets. We are all connected, endlessly, through substance and energy. You should know this, Bagrat, or so I would expect.

Though perhaps I can confess something to you, in candor. Our last meeting has left me rather in doubt of my own abilities to represent Joe in a manner that is accurate and compelling. It is to say, I have come to wonder if I am making, or able to make a worthwhile effort at being Joe.
These doubts cloud my unfortunate mind, and in a way I find myself in hesitation, under a cloud.

Erica Dusette wrote:Heya Nash + Joe. Exciting times at the moment for Jove enthusiasts such as yourself I'm betting, Joe?
Greetings Erica. I hope things are well with you.
It is indeed exciting times. Brother Uriel has been busy uncovering a treasure trove of information. I must say I have not contributed myself actively to the effort, and that is completely on me. So in a way, I am personally excited but I am averse to celebrating too much. I would rather have Uriel and the others take credit for their own hard work. I hope that makes sense.
On a side note, I believe I have devised a backstory for Joe that I am more comfortable with. When I briefly roleplayed with Erica in game, I think the concept of Joe was murky for me and this doubt came through in our interaction. I feel excited to think I've solved that problem. The next step would be some writing.
