He could give a personal reference, which for all intents and purposes is useless. Old job wise, both of the employers I worked for in that particular trade are long gone, both businesses folded with the current economic climate.

A lot of what I did is now fitted at main stealerships or the factory, I used to do a lot of alarms and trackers, multimedia stuff, headrest screens, TV through factory dashboard screens (bad idea, the reception sucks in a car) etc. I'm currently getting by doing odds and sods for some independant dealerships, but there's not enough work out there to make a living from it.

Even in Germany the days of someone splashing 5-12K out on aftermarket electronics for their car are long gone, there's very few people doing custom work and the big nationals such as Mediamarkt & ATU in Germany, and Halfords in the UK, have syphoned away the bread and butter work of slapping a stereo in the dash or speakers in a parcel shelf.

I've spent a few weeks playing hardcore mode on minecraft and I was building my doom fortress on a mountain top I converted into a spire. I was up building stairs around the base of the fortress when a nasty spider runs out and pushes me off the spire.... about 8 seconds later I splatter into the ground and my world is gone

Hey everyone!
I haven't been posting nor liking for a while, but I have good reason.
I got some bad news last week after going for a routine checkup at the doctors.
I apparently have a cyste the size of a golfball in my jaw, which has eroded my jawbone to a few millimeters.
According to the doc it has been there for about 10 to 15 years, and I never really felt it because it had plenty of room to grow.
This means my jawbone will have to be reconstructed and I'll be hospitalised for a while.
Co+»ncidently I've been diagnosed with severe depression, and feel that EVE is too much of a task at the moment.
I won't let my sub lapse just yet, but I won't be posting and playing as much for the time being.
Anyway, just figured I'd let you likers know what's up, incase you've missed me.

Of course, I was not running Log Server so I don't really have anything to back this up for CCP for reporting.

So, I'm doing my low sec PI, as I have for 3 years using Deep Space Transports, and after that long I am a Grand Master of the Cloak/MWD Trick.

After a jump, there were 3 Sansha Frigs at the gate, as they sometimes are. After initiating my align and hitting cloak, I was literally and instantly targeted and fired upon by one of the frigs, and got a suspect timer. First off, targeting me has never happened before, and also, since when do these things insta-lock on Low sec.

But the weird part is: the target lock and fired shot did not stop my cloak from completing, as it should have ! I was able to complete the manoeuvrings and continue on as if nothing had happened. And I know targeting always stops the cloaking process, but not in this case.

Just too weird. Thoughts ?

You could post on how rare glomps are captioned in German or make one?

Texas is next, but at least it has the refuge of things in Houston going for it and certainly Austin, but it's still too danged hot with no autumn or spring really and surprisingly cold and dangerous winters what with frequent ice storms. Weird.

New England is pretty and charming, but has horrific winters.

Honestly, for the best I've experienced, it's a toss-up between Northern California and Seattle. Paradise.

ISD won't be able to do anything about it and it's very very doubtful CCP will remove an item from his account regardless of what's said in this thread.

All CCP will see is that he completed a legit trade / contract agreement with another character in-game which gave him a Monocle.

Now if this was supposed to be or is indeed a LAGL tradition and if all characters before him are listed with pic's of Monocle & contract, then maybe might have a slight chance of CCP pulling it from his account. More than likely I think CCP would just donate a new Monocle to the cause instead of jumping into another characters assets.

And if that does happen, that Monocle needs to continue through in correct order to the hands of all those who reached 10k likes, even if it's just for 1 day to take a screen shot of portrait and contract to add to the list.

Maybe create a new thread to be an offshoot of this one listing in correct order all recipients of the LAGL Monocle. Could even call the thread : The LAGL 10k Monocle Club?
