So what do you think EVE will look like in 10 years? Full of structures, more populated, plenty of new players, improved graphics or somethings else? |

While flying ships in EVE I thought what was the largest space ship I have ever seen and I think the mother ship in Independence Day beats them all. 1/4th the mass of the moon and a true giant. Death stars in SW don't even come close to that.
That said, have you ever seen something bigger?
P.S the planet of the Transformers do not count, cause they built on top of it. |

Another boring day at work.  No, it doesn't help the fact that it's Friday, cause I am working tomorrow as well. And the heat is unbearable.
The only two things that help time go by is the thought of going to the Aqua park on Sunday and posting on the forums of course. |

So, here I am, Burn Amarr didn't work so well for me as I thought It would...
The idea was to be like a vulture. And it almost worked. I was going to steal loot for about half a billion, but some insta lock Svipul slowed me down. When I got back, there an Orca which stole everything right in front of me...
Other than that I had a lot of fun running around the blobs and occasionally getting a snack. If only I didn't move around in a 0.7 bil pod Guess that guy made me a favor. Now I can fly around a lot calmer.
After all this game is about having fun, right? I wonder if all the freighter pilots did. |

So far recruiting people was the easier part, but keeping them interested in the game is the harder one. People are used to the simplicity of moving around using arrow keys and killing everything with left click.
In EVE, most people don't move past mining/mission running and they say the game is boring, yet they've explored only about 1% of it... |

I'm a member of the school of thought that EVE isn't particularly hard or complicated. It can't afford to be, since it's a MMO, or it'd lose the majority of its playerbase.
Exactly, that's what makes the game interesting, it's complexity. If I had to do the same thing all day long I wouldn't last long here.
As for the spies, I recruit people I know in real life, so I am not worried, but out ot 10 people, only 2 remained active...
You have to be a Sci-Fi fan to get truly attached to this game, sometimes I simply fly towards planets and enjoy the graphics even if it's truly meaningless, or while I update orders. |
